Thread number one.

So are we all still watching, despite the mumbling, bad writing and inaccuracies?

I'm not sure what ClaireGwen is up to, but they've written her to like kinky sex which in telly land means she's a bad un.

Last night's highlight for me was DH's genuine confusion over whether subtitles were for the hearing impaired or vision impaired (he may have had a couple of beers). Also sweaty Lee hammering in fence posts.

Has that junior solicitor fella been in something on CBBC?

When does The Missing season 2 start?

Is Rick Pippa's or cousin's father? Pippa

Who was at the wedding? Pippa's parents

Have we met the mothers of Pippa and cousin? Yes to Pippa - Rick and drunk woman Gillespie. No mention of cousin's parents.

Why was Lee accused? Dunno

Who has slept with who? Claire and Rick, Lee and Mrs Drunk Gillespie, Claire poss slept with DT

I know Claire claimed to have been drugged and woke to find Lee cleaning the house. Do we know any more about the pendant that DT's wife lost? No.

I think Lee was accused because his hair was on Pippa's pillow, Pippa's necklace was in his car and he asked Claire to lie about where he was on the night of the murder as he didn't have an alibi . . .admittedly that doesn't seem an awful lot on which to base a murder charge.

I think Tom speaking in court will just be a means to outing the fact that he's been meeting up with Mark in secret and adding more fuel to the fire that Mark is the killer.

Yes, good point actually! Was there an autopsy on pippa? What was the cause of death?

I'm not clear whether they ever mentioned the cause of death, but if they charged Lee with murder then they must have had evidence that she didn't drown accidentally.

The other bit of info re: the necklace was that Pippa was wearing it the night she disappeared. So discovering it in Lee's car was the key bit of evidence, without which the previous case collapsed.

I think Lee gave the cousin a lift and she left the girl's necklace in the car. Doesn't mean he killed her. Which he clearly did not. The dad is very suss.

I assumed that Lee was having an affair either with Pippa or the cousin, and that's how the necklace ended up in his car.

I think the one thing we can say for sure is that Lee wasn't having an affair with Pippa, because that would make him a paedophile as well. As the 'church full of paedophiles' (still chuckling at that) shows us, paedophiles are all middle-aged paunchy men without much hair and sad expressions. Lee, clearly, is not that.

It looks like one big gang bang. I wonder if Lee & Ricky were sleeping together too, girls witnessed it and had to be silenced....

Sand brook swingers. I reckon they all knew about each other, the drugs fuelled the neighbourly sex parties, and Pippa died while supervised by drunks, cousin arrived and was despatched because of what she saw, in a druggy/drinky haze.
