My favourite author once quoted me in his blog and I was delirious with joy. He was also impressed when I took an early edition of one of his books for signing. Not in the same league as making your musketeer smile at you though.

I loved Wolf Hall last night Helen. Tbh I wasn't sure last week, I really loved the books and that was one of the periods of history I studied and still read up on. Thought the costumes and sets were fab but it didn't grab me. Last night it did, once the intrigue started. Plus Damien Lewis is brilliant and fuckable.

Afternoon all. Had a mad couple of days with DS's birthday. I'm home early from school because of the snow, but in true flopsy style, no one let me drive home in the snow so I was driven by a friend's DH. So I am here, at home, 20 miles from work, with no car to get back to work tomorrow. Bloody snow.

DH is at a funeral today so at least I get chance to pick the kids up from school for once, something I haven't done this academic year.
