I'm confused about the replacement of the jewellery box idea. We saw the box when Ian opened it & are fairly sure that one didn't play the same tune as the last thing she heard. Are people suggesting that it was replaced sometime that day or just that someone's bought a new one to freak Cindy out? If so, what happened to the old one?

I'm suddenly leaning towards the Jane-camp now... I still think Bobby's involved somewhere though. Maybe he shouted at Lucy about the whole favourite-child incident, Lucy got cross & attacked him, Jane intervened & Lucy fell & hit her head. Jane would do anything to protect Bobby & Lucy's already taken away her first chance to have a child.

I was looking at the EE website at the case files last night after I said I was going to bed & found them woefully lacking. They've not updated the timeline to include any of the more recent revelations or sightings like Billy's argument or when Lauren nearly visited her. One thing I did note though was one of her last social media comments was something about nearly giving in but staying strong. That would correlate to the unsent text asking for drugs & could potentially mean she was in withdrawal, if Peter's to be believed about the extent of her use, & therefore more volatile than usual. That could cause her to overreact in an argument with Bobby & there be a need for someone Jane to step in.

Does anyone know what the schedule of the reveal week will be? The live episode isn't the flashback one, is it? Does the flashback episode come before or after the big reveal? I'm assuming it'll be a case of the live episode ending with a "it was you, wasn't it? Shock " moment followed by the flashback episode the next day to explain it.

This may or may not be significant.

I have again watched the bit where Emma has her penny-dropping moment. She sees Denise and her sister arguing. (Arguing siblings? ) . Then Dean runs in to say Patrick has fallen, and he'd only left him for a minute (a fall?). THEN the penny drops and she runs outside. She looks at Patricks house then the Beales then at nbr 27. Now, according to this link, nbr 27 was empty for some of 2014. Now it is where Ronnie and Roxy live. Could it have been empty at the time of the murder?

SpanishFly, there was a party happening at Roxy and Ronnie's house the night she died, so definitely couldn't have been an empty house.

My theory of the jewellery box replacement: (Grin)

I believe it was a pre-meditated murder.
• The killer bought another jewellery box that was almost identical.
• He/she hits Lucy over the head with the original box.
• As Lucy lays dying, eyes flickering, the murderer opens the new box (for that dramatic effect Grin) then puts the box used for murder in a bag or something.
• He/she closes the box and Lucy dies.
• Then she's dumped in the common.
• next day the new jewellery box is placed in her bedroom.
• Old box (murder weapon) is put under the floorboard.

Didn't Jane have sex with Ian the day they found out Lucy died? Maybe Jane still felt angry at Lucy for bringing psycho Steven back into their lives which led to Jane being left childless for life?

i thought the box was left in lucys room, coke was found and ian asked peter if he knew anything about it and he denied it but lucys looks at peter, we know now that peter brought her the coke,so he lied to ian when lucy was alive

i thought lucy was strangled??? and if the bump that max did when she bumped her head on table was part of it, it would have showed up in autopsy??

and when did sonja and fatboy have a shag?

and maybe T&T mum reliesed that jane couldnt see across the street as of the huge tree there

I know! Me too! I am both shocked an disgusted by this. I expected to hate him. I loved him within a week of him arriving on the square. He and Linda are so great and lovely. They must never leave or split up.

Except for Sylvie. I don't think her acting is all that great and she is a horrible character too.

Wish they weren't killing Stan off. I feel like he could do a bit more.
