Couldn't see a new Eastenders thread, so I thought I'd start one. Apologies if this is a duplication.

Great to hear Christian could be coming back.

Is Lexi is still young enough to have have a cot mobile?

Or as R&R just recently bought Janine's house, is it possible Janine left behind some things (cot mobile?) that R&R hadn't got rid of yet & it has something to do with that!?

AGnu · 23/01/2015 00:14

To keep myself everyone entertained while we're deprived of EE for a whole 3 days, I've created a [sherlock] document for the purposes of compiling our evidence! So far I've started with a timeline - feel free to add/alter with any thoughts you have! I need a life! Grin

AGnu · 23/01/2015 00:26

Good thought different, I'd forgotten Lexi. According to wiki, Lexi was born during the live episode on July 23rd, 2012. Probably a bit old for a cot mobile at nearly 2 when Lucy died, right? We've never had a mobile for our DC so I've no idea at what point it gets taken away!

differentnameforthis · 23/01/2015 00:52

I dunno AGnu, I know that dd1 had hers still, because she loved it... but dd2 was in a bed by then...so not sure.

I personally think that they are putting too much drama (all at once) in the Carter's story line, I think they should focus only on Linda's rape story, the Shirley dean thing etc. Now Stan just revealed that he wants Tina and Mick to help him with assisted suicide.

It's all a bit too much in once episode, they should of added the Stan attempted suicide bit later on in the episodes.

SurlyCue · 23/01/2015 01:37

Yes adrianna i agree with that. It was all too much in quick succesion. They run the risk of not being able to do justice to each of the storylines.

VashtaNerada · 23/01/2015 06:38

Random thought: did we ever consider Tosh as a potential murderer? [sherlock]

VashtaNerada · 23/01/2015 06:40

Good timeline AGnu!

DieselSpillages · 23/01/2015 06:53

Max taking over The Arches even though it was Nick who cut the breaks...

I'm sure this means that Phil was involved in Lucy's murder and Max knows otherwise it doesn't make sense unless he's had a character transplant.

So what part did Phil play ? Were Ben, Jay and Lucy all snorting coke at the flats when Lucy had a bad reaction, added to her previous head injury and died. They called Phil and he dumped the body.
Abi, left the music box because she was spying on Lucy and knows? jane knows too somehow and is hiding evidence to protect Ben and Peter (who supplied the coke, which he got from Nick) Confused

youarekiddingme · 23/01/2015 07:05

Just watched the clip.

It sounds like a music box or children's toy.

Wasn't Peter living at Lola's house at that time? So chances are it's Peter? She does from coke he'd given her?

DieselSpillages · 23/01/2015 08:21

good point kiddingme

Both Mick and Tina stomping across Mick and Linda's bed with their shoes onGrin

AGnu · 23/01/2015 11:06

Did anyone else find the way Lee snuck up on Linda a bit creepy? It reminded me of the way Dean(o) crept up on her - I half expected her to freak out! He could've just popped his head round the door & said "Love you too".

differentnameforthis · 23/01/2015 11:07

youare...I hadnt even thought of that. .it would still be murder because he gave it to her

CrapBag · 23/01/2015 11:45

I am thinking Cindy. Music was Beth's mobile so happened upstairs in the Beales. Could have been another Beale though (apart from Ian, I'm really dont think it was him) Jane helped her move the body? But that doesn't explain Ben, Jay and the purse.

"It was still murder" means some sort of accident. Peter/Cindy/Jane loosing their temper with Lucy and hitting her or grabbing her. Letting go but too late or hit aggravated earlier head injury?

SoupDragon · 23/01/2015 11:56

Music was Beth's mobile

Beth wasn't born when Lucy died.

SoupDragon · 23/01/2015 11:57

The brilliant acting from most of the Carter family has only shown up how bad Nancy's acting is.

CrapBag · 23/01/2015 12:17

Shit. Thought i'd solved it. Grin

I stopped watching when they killed Danielle after Ronnie just found out she was her daughter. Only got back into it later last year and I am loving it.

Ok then, Ben and Jay stole an ice cream van for a joyride, didn't see Lucy (they were blasting out the tunes) and the hit her. She died, they dumped her body and stole her purse and phone to make it look like a mugging. Grin

Job done, i'll have my winners award now thanks. Grin

VashtaNerada · 23/01/2015 12:31

I thought Nancy was great SoupDragon!

SoupDragon · 23/01/2015 12:40

Her monotone delivery grates on me.

Mrsjayy · 23/01/2015 12:46

Yeah the carters are going to burn out quickly mid year and just be wallpaper. Nancy is starting to grate on me too

SoupDragon · 23/01/2015 12:48

But why didn't I notice? [wail]

I think that sums it up.

Imagine my surprise when I noticed that the actress won "Most popular newcomer" at the awards this week.

SoupDragon · 23/01/2015 12:49

Having said that, winter has improved her dress sense :o

ChuckNovice · 23/01/2015 12:58

I love Nancy. I think she seems very real. I also like the fact she doesn't say her words word for word either and there's a few stutters which is much more realistic than saying everything perfectly.

ChuckNovice · 23/01/2015 13:00

Yeah Soup them basketball shorts were horrendous.
