I agree that Max is on self destruct. It's an interesting idea that him having the Arches has a part to play in the live episode - could he clear it out and find something pinning Lucy's murder on Ben or Jay?

I like Shabnam. I think a lot of her prickliness is down to The Secret.

Max 's relationship with Summer was maybe all about him manipulating the Lucy case, we saw him destroying her file. Now he feels guilty as fuck and is either on self destruct mode... or Phil was also involved in Lucy's murder and Max knows it and blames him.

I agree with Spanish re Shabs and her style of acting, it drives me mad. It's so over the top . Also whilst I'm on it, I can't stand the character of Max. He's a dreadful actor IMO. He can show no real emotion apart from aggression.

I'm sticking with my initial theories re:Shabs. Apparently she tells Stacey this Friday. Not liking her acting either, when she gets frustrated/angry/sad; it's very rigid.

Agree about Max; I laughed at Carol's reaction to seeing him "snog" Emma's mum. That was funny.

I went off Max a bit when he was on Strictly. IRl he's quietly spoken and all smiley and nice. Im back on him now though. and Kush. Hopefully his new storyline with Shabnam will see him getting his kit off more.
My favourite ever EE crush was serial killer Lucas. I was hoping he wouldn't get caught.

Max is hideous and annoying. He is such a dick to his children. Why don't they just go and tell him to go fuck himself! (Ok it's EE and pre watershed but still).

Looking forward to finding out Shabnams secret. I think it's baby related because of her weight comment. Plus I saw a picture of the episode where she confesses to Stacey.

Alfie is beyond irritating! Why is he so chirpy again!? He screwed up Kats life and made his children homeless. What is he doing for money? He can't pay rent ad he won't be doing something normal like claiming benefits like someone would in the real world.

That clip was scary as fuck!!

Personally I am glad Alfie is a bit more upbeat. His depressive, chin in the air, helpless acting was doing my head in! No idea what he is doing for money though - is he working in Beales??

Mrsjayy I had noticed max was a weird colour. He looks jaundiced. Must be the whiskey (or St. Tropez).

I go from liking Max to detesting him. Right now I am not so keen.

I love Kush. Not my usual type but he is very attractive and a nice guy Grin I think EE needed a nice guy.

I have no idea what Shabnam's secret is. The newspaper article could very well relate to a baby though - and her happiness at seeing it could just be her being happy that her child is happy and well looked after?

My problem with Shabnam is that she's a very two dimensional character. I'm hoping whatever the secret is will give her a bit more depth.

I didn't get an impression of happiness when Shabnam looked at the clipping. More a sense that it was precious to her which is slightly different.

I'm sure the other Shabnam wasn't anywhere near as prickly. Yes, she has clearly been involved in some sort of traumatic event but her whole personality has changed. Not very convincing.
