Finally caught up on a bit of ff. Loving Five Years On latest chapter paintedcherry, great story. Of course Persuading Charles is keeping me on tenterhooks too. I don't know how you talented writers do it. I've got a mind like a sewer vivid imagination when it comes to all things CJ, but there's no way I could write it down so beautifully. Also, the fact that a lot of it would be unprintable doesn't help either Grin

orphan · 19/01/2015 15:11

The film In the Night was partially improvised. Can't help imagining what I'd have improvised if I were playing opposite BA (instead of the supermodel who stole my place)... Grin

orphan · 19/01/2015 15:15

Like cjwoof I've got a very vivid imagination and I think my improvisational skills in say a showerscene are quite good.

Richtea19 · 19/01/2015 15:15

It's so funny describing our partners, my DH definatley isn't posh speaking.. I'm always correcting him on his spoken Grammer! (That's South London for you!) his waist size has always been 34, so I should be grateful he hasn't changed as he is approaching 50, I like to think I keep him busy ;)

Richtea19 · 19/01/2015 15:20

My imagination when it comes to CJ is guttural. I wouldn't want to put down my thoughts about him. Probably much the same as everyone else's. I still haven't managed to have a filthy dream about him yet, although I did about one of my DH friends who has recently become single (wife left him for younger model). I woke up feeling rather guilty, but with a smile on my face!

orphan · 19/01/2015 15:31

I had a rather risqué dream about the exhusband of a friend of mine. I don't find him particularly attractive in RL, but that certainly wasn't the case in the dream!Blush Of course, sod's law says that I never dream about CJ, who of course I find more than attractive.

orphan · 19/01/2015 15:36

richtea do you find it odd thinking that your husband will be 50 soonish? I do with my dp, cos I still think of him, and myself for that matter, as being so much younger. I think I'm stuck in my mind in my 20s, so it's a shock when birthdays come around!

WHAJEB1 · 19/01/2015 15:56

orphan supposedly if you think your younger you do actually live longer!! Could any talent here knit me a wig in the style of CJ and them my lovely dp can have one similarity!

Richtea19 · 19/01/2015 15:58

I don't really think of any of us as our age, it just when you say it out loud or tell someone. When I look back at old pictures of ourselves, I sometimes think we actually look better now. Fortunately we both feel young, DH still plays football and is active (no beer belly). When I remember my nanny at 80 and compare to my dad whose 80, they are poles apart and I guess it will be the same when you compare our generation with our parents. We just keep getting younger!!!!

cjwoofwoof · 19/01/2015 16:02

Good idea on the wig WHAJEB - I could do with one of those for my DH. Some liposuction, a Tudor stretching table, brown contact lenses, elocution lessons and a time machine would also help to regenerate him into some form of a CJ

orphan · 19/01/2015 16:06

Great idea whajeb! All our partners could wear CJ wigs. I'll pass though on the BA all over curly wig. And let me think about the shag rug.

Nickel45 · 19/01/2015 16:07

My DH s 52 this year, which is wierd! I'm definitely not that old ..... Still in my 20s i think (in my head)! My DH is unfortunately nothing like CJ would be just like CJ if he were half a foot taller, several stone lighter, 20 odd years younger and had brown hair! He does have brown eyes! Unfortunately at the moment he is being a really grumpy sod and isn't endearing himself to me at all .... But I won't moan on, i'll just indulge myself in fantasy rather than reality!

orphan · 19/01/2015 16:10

Do you think cosmetic surgery places offer men a CJ option? You're offered a brochure to flick through with various 'looks' to chose from, and of course the top and most expensive procedure is the CJ.Smile

orphan · 19/01/2015 16:13

Sadly, unavailable on the NHS.

Onlygirljen · 19/01/2015 16:49

My DH has the hair, although he keeps it short as the curls annoy him. My youngest son has inherited the same curly mop.

Hubby also has the height, but the similarities end there - blue eyes instead of brown, and a lot heavier in build.

I could convince him to grow out his hair and fashion some sort of wig from it when he cuts it all off whajeb!

Must say, not feeling great from my fall earlier - bruising starting to come out in force already. Could definitely do with some TLC!

cjwoofwoof · 19/01/2015 16:50

Never mind unavailable on NHS, orphan I'd pay good money to have my DH transformed into a top-of-the-range CJ, complete with neck nape curls and overactive tongue. I'd like the added headset extra and either the "Setting out for Bastion Getting in Truck" look in Ep 3 or "the Restaurant Smirk and Puppy Dog Eyes" in Ep 5 please, depending on which is cheaper. Could the surgery come in suit form, zipped up at the back, so I can zip him in and out of each "look" as the mood takes me? That way if he's Captain Stern Faced Shouty Pants and is getting on my nerves, I can instantly zip him up into his Come back to my House in Bath for a Right Seeing To suit, followed by his I Want You to be Brilliant Soft Voice CJ suit when I want some cash for another pair of Uggs.

The man flu CJ ie cast on the wrong leg suit!

pixieg1rl · 19/01/2015 16:57

Perhaps we could share the zip up suits and split the cost. I'd probably end up wearing out hogging Captain stern face shouty pants though.

cjwoofwoof · 19/01/2015 17:00

Poor you jen I last fell over early Dec and my cankle is STILL the size of Cherie Blair's! If I were you I'd rest up and write another brilliant chapter, tee-hee #ulterior motive!!

And that's A LOT of haircuts your poor DH might gonna need for all our DPs wigs on here. First one should be ready by next Christmas!

moojangles · 19/01/2015 17:06

Ooh, another confessionish type of day re DHs! Can lend out combats if you want. DH is 6"1 and a wearer of the low slung combats when in greens. He is still long limbed and slender hipped and has naturally curly hair but has a very military haircut. Erm, younger than me so still in his 30's. Who's making the masks and wigs? Can I get a discount if I provide the combats?

cjwoofwoof · 19/01/2015 17:06

Yes WHAJEB and when the garden/bush needs a trim the Lumberjack and Gloves suit would come in very handy indeed Grin

cjwoofwoof · 19/01/2015 17:11

Ooh mooj sounds to me like you don't need a zip up plastic surgery suit for your DH, he practically IS CJ! Can you hire HIM out for me and pixie to share/save on clinic costs?!

moojangles · 19/01/2015 17:21

cjwoof erm, if you can wait out until April?!?! You will need the wig and mask and to use your downloaded CJ clips, very definitely not a posh boy. Ooh, anyone getting a job lot of brown contact lenses?

cjwoofwoof · 19/01/2015 17:28

Ok I'll need to utilize the zip up suits on my own DH until April then mooj until your CJ Nearly-Clone touches down back at Brize Nor-hun and can be whipped away for a wig and mask fitting toute-suite. I can overlook the posh boy accent if he stays silent Wink
