A Rosabaya tattoo? Wow, that's above and beyond I think. I couldn't go that far.

I think Bailbrook House was on Tripadvisor rated as the fifth best out of all the Bath hotels (you would need to check that). As you say though, once we're there, they would be unlikely to chuck us out, especially if our bar bill is high. Also, we may end up taking over the entire hotel! How many of us are going? I still think the baths would be nice for those spa treatments and the mud treatments would be interesting to say the least!

Tbh I thought the tattoo wasn't that unlikely to happen! There are worst tattoo after all!
(I never wanted one, but I have seen plenty of regrettable choices...this one isn't that bad, it's at least nicely written)

Have you seen all the new ff chapters which seem to have come in this afternoon? Spent a very pleasant hour catching up when really I should be cleaning the kitchen!

I am totally engrossed in the ff (well the good ones such as klipdoctor and especially those on here such as whajeb's, lola's, onlygirls, paintedcherry, rhubarb and spo - I've not forgotten anyone, have I? Apologies if I have). So engrossed was I tonight that I had left a big pan of tomato sauce I had made for pasta to simmer on the hob and I have just been in the kitchen and realised it has burned the pan. My own fault - I was just so dying to start reading the latest chapters! I am hoping soda crystals may save it but not holding out much hope!

I was so excited when I saw whajeb had added new chapters! I wanted to shout out!!!

Just done a quick count up and I think there are about 15 of us for the AGM and conference plus we need RL Chris and my gorgeous colleague along as well. I bet we could take over the entire hotel (assuming we are not sharing rooms) so my earlier concerns are possibly unfounded. Mustn't forget our keynote speaker though. If it's CJ, I guess he could bunk up with one of us! We may have to draw lots for that privilege...

EVening all. I've been lurking for a couple of days as feeling a bit lacklustre on the contribution front.

My only thought on the tattoo is at least the lady won't have to suffer the embarrassment of everyone knowing what it relates to and having it date you as you get older. As we have commented so many times before, so few people in RL seem to have watched OG that they'll probably think its one of her children's names - but now we are getting into the territory of Katie 'rent a gob' Hopkins. I expect there is another thread on here covering that one.

Actually I've been getting a bit confused about whether we are talking about Bailbrook Lodge or Bailbrook House Hotel. I believe OG was filmed at Bailbrook House. I have passed by many times but now think it's the Lodge I can see as it is not far from the House in terms of location, if you get my drift. One of them, the House, I think, used to be an air traffic controllers college before becoming a hotel.

Yes, after consulting google maps I can see that they are close but separate. Well, If there is overspill and an annexe is needed, something is close at hand!
