orphan I think it is best we all have our own rooms. I suspect we may all end up with "guests".....

I checked on the NTAs last week as I would have voted for OG of course but there was no sign of it.

I have not watched my DVD for 3 days now. I think it is a record. However, I have been spending all my time reading the ff and being on this thread so no sign at all of decompression for me.

Yes probably spelled sofisticated. (I remember Jessie J's confession about the spelling mistake on her tattoo which is why she wear's high waists all the time 'loose' instead of 'lose')

Confession time Ilove I haven't watched the DVD for about 2 months!! Am I decompressed or just depressed?

Rhubarb you've been busy with your writing though! Will you watch it again do you think?

Hope you're ok and not too fed up. Maybe it's the reaction of having written such a great work. As if you're coming down off an adrenaline rush perhaps?

Just got back from cinema to see Testament of Youth. Not bad but WWI uniforms are nowhere near as endearing as modern low slung desert combats. Not much on the male crumpet front either, Kit Harrington passable but not as rugged as he is in his fur coat and moustache on Game of Thrones.

I'm with orphan on the AGM hotel room requirements - I might gonna need my own suite which will double up as a changing room for all our male guests/wrestling contenders. I intend to accidentally walk in whenever it suits me so privacy is totally necessary whilst I deal with them one at a time

With reference to Jessie J - probably just at a 'loose' end and not thrilled with all the things that actually need doing around here and have no appeal - housework is stupid and pointless isn't it? No one on their death bed ever said 'I wish I'd done more housework!'. Perhaps I should lounge around a bit in a long frilly shirt, draping myself dramatically on a Chaise longue and sighing as if I have just finished War and Peace!! Ha ha!

I will definitely watch OG again but the longer I leave it, build up the anticiaption etc etc the more I will appreciate it all over again. How long can I hold out? Perhaps we should all consider giving it up for lent. Now there's a thought an OG fest combined with chocolate at Easter.

Rhubarb Doctor Woofwoof prescribes a full dose of OG dvd to cheer you up. You obviously need reminding of the headset, legs akimbo, arms folded, big watch, long fingers and side parting full of Afghan grime. Ep 2&3 will soon have you re compressed and back to imaginary RL so to speak. Better still, I need you to write some more bloody ff

Rhubarb I don't think the time of the year and the miserable weather helps you when you are feeling down in the dumps.

Today, I received a delivery from Interflora at work. Our receptionist pointed out that it seemed to be a mass of red roses in a massive box. Had CJ tracked me down at last I wondered? Indeed, they were a mass of red roses but a very dark red, not a "Valentine's Day" sort of red and were mixed with foliage and ferns too. It turned out they were from my work friend whose mother had died at Christmas to say thank you for all I had done for her (mainly listening but secretly worrying that she was in some sort of seriously depressed state), That cheered me up - it's not been a very pleasant week at work so far. At least I am on holiday on Friday - off on a ladies' eating and shopping weekend as a belated Christmas present.

That was a nice gesture from your friend Ilove and must have been a nice surprise. She obviously appreciated all your help.

rhubarb I never thought about the deathbed situation, but I clearly see your point. Or better. I'd see your point if the windows in my flat were not horribly dirty, and if to get to the window I could just walk there instead if climbing over piles of toys and horrible histories books :-)

CJwoof I will probably find a reason before Easter to watch OG. I have to say it wasn't necessary to remind myself of very much by watching the DVD because of the detail in which we have covered everything here.(PhD level knowledge). Perhaps we should all change our names and put Dr in front.

Got a day off with the hubby today - dropping the kids off at school / nursery then going to treat ourselves to a nice breakfast out. Going to try and get some ff written and up later, wont have a chance for a few days after today.

Got a work black tie event tomorrow evening which I need to try and fit in my dress for - might be restricted to a lot of coffee rather than full breakfast this morning....

richtea, that's great news! We are all chuffed ;-) would the job spec require wearing similar headset, in same bunker as icemist, following same targets? (Aka- icemist, are you recruiting, now that there are so many potential wrestlers??)

I have one of these maddest days- 3 meetings in 3 different places. Kings cross, london bridge, aldgate, in sequence, then HQ. Any glitch in TFL and I am screwed. (I knew I had to activate that boris bike account....but should I risk my life pedalling around central London at speed to get from mtg to mtg? Nah!)

onlygirl v envious of your breakfast out. I, being a greedy pig, love breakfast/brunch out and it's great that so many places seem to offer it now. Mmm, thinking of eggs Benedict now.

I don't think it is BA blindfolded, but will be very happy if I am proved wrong!
