Oh and I don't mean Milady and Roquefort are in cahoots. Just that it's happening simultaneously.

Although......maybe they are??? Maybe that's going to be a big twist at the end?

Oh and Sparks - I meant it's no different in terms of ....erm....performance? I know it's darker, and so far less humorous. But I just mean the overall effect.

Should be part of the opening note. Pick your Musketeer to boff and talk shite about it.

I love this place

FancyFancy · 17/01/2015 16:35

Ooh hanna, what if Milady finds out about Rochefort being a Spanish agent & has to decide whether to use this to control him for her own ends, or whether to inform on him & get rewarded for it (& maybe get into Athos's pants good books again)?

er, what was that about talking shite again?

Baddz · 17/01/2015 16:42

I can see why people are saying they didn't enjoy it as much but TBh series 1 only got going in ep 3 for me so I dont think all is lost.
I have high hopes,for ep 4 :)

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 17/01/2015 16:42

Never mind the plot. I just want her hair & tits. Oh & her RL wardrobe Envy

I seek solace in the fact that she doesn't get to snog Aramis.

Let's not go there Adrian. That WOULD be dark.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 17/01/2015 16:44

Having watched that video clip from Mrs Bee, or maybe the one underneath it, can't recall, there is a LOT of action & swording & fighty-fighty to come so all is good.

Flopsy28 · 17/01/2015 16:50

I like your train of thought there hanna, everyone on the road to ruin until a fabulous climax where TM save it all

Well, play dates going fabulously here not

HannaCotta · 17/01/2015 16:50

I think she'd probably do both Fancy, knowing Milady. Even though she worked for the Cardinal, she always had her own agenda.

Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer and all that.

I predict Milady and Roquefort bumping uglies at some point.

Both of them lying to each other and using each other to further their own plots.

Both of them getting away with it by the skin of their teeth.

But I don't think they will ever truly collaborate. They are cut from the same cloth, and only one of them can be in charge, but both want to be.

Or, in an annoying twist, Milady could manage to keep her nose clean this series. At least in terms of being caught out. She could remain a contact of the King. Albeit from a distance after Queenie kicks her arse.

In a dress with a corset like that, I'd have an even better cleavage sparks. Grin Wouldn't be able to see over it to watch where I was going mind. (And I wouldn't look anywhere near as good in her real-life wardrobe either)

HannaCotta · 17/01/2015 16:55

Floppers, get that wine open! Wine

I would have called dd to one side for something and told her its a no from me and not to put me on the spot in future.
In front of another dc, I would have floundered myself through some made up excuse of why it couldn't happen.
Kids are buggers - they know exactly what they're doing! Grin

Going take away here tonight.

Cin!!
You know Spanish jangly keys man?
Info needed!
:)

FancyFancy · 17/01/2015 16:58

That always pissed me off no end flopsy. My kids were too shy to shit round at other people's houses, whereas without fail my house had a laxative effect on their friends. At best you'd end up with skiddy toilets, at worst when their friends were small you had the whole 'do you trust the kid to wipe their own arse properly' dilemma.

FancyFancy · 17/01/2015 17:07

Hated the putting you on the spot thing too, bad enough for playdates, even worse for sleepovers. I always said no, but then I'm a mean cow.

Karma got me back once. A few years ago, a then friend of DS's, who was round a lot, asked DS if he could stay for a sleepover that night. DS then asked me & I said no. Found out a few days later the kid only asked because his stepdad had a birthday party that night & he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep for the noise. Sad. I felt really shitty.

Enormouse · 17/01/2015 17:10

I have no idea what to cook tonight. Toddler has a dodgy tummy, yaaay toilet dramas aplenty here too. Envy that's a vom face btw.

I was thinking meatballs and spaghetti and he could have a little pasta and garlic bread.

FancyFancy · 17/01/2015 17:34

aw, poor toddlermouse, maybe he was brewing it yesterday & that's why he was playing up?

AnneOfAramis · 17/01/2015 17:41

We are having fajitas.

I plan to have a wardrobe like Maimie's by Christmas so will be having the chicken and salad ignores the three Fererro Rocher and kievs and chips already eaten today

I love that this is back on and all the dissecting.

AnneOfAramis · 17/01/2015 17:43

The 'Our Girl and Captain James' threads are going well aren't they? They are on thread 10.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 17/01/2015 17:47

Evening Smile

Trying to cure a headache with a huge cup of coffee. Been at Fika today with friends and had the most amazing cake, a combination of cheesecake, brownie with raspberry mousse Smile
We talked about travelling and I might be going to Turkey in december and I might do a little UK Wench Tour on my own Smile
I liked this episode, just complaining about the lack of naked musketeers Grin

MadamedeChevreuse · 17/01/2015 17:48

Ok. So marguerite NOT a spy then. damn

LetUsPrey · 17/01/2015 17:50

Right. I'm a muppet and Fancy is right. He says Madrid and not Marguerite. I'm blaming the accent and not my hearing.

Sorry everywench.

Enormouse · 17/01/2015 17:56

I think you're right fancy. He's cuddling up to Mr M and they're watching the flash together.

ww salt and vinegar flavour is the best. I do miss those lovely spice/flavour packets you Swedes have, for adding to yoghurt to make dips.

FancyFancy · 17/01/2015 17:58

I use subtitles a lot, it helps with the heavy accents Grin

The more involved plots do help with the over-analysis & speculating don't they?

A UK tour ww? Dooo iiitttt.

ApricotCrush · 17/01/2015 18:00

Ooo, love those WW.

I'm loving all the plot analysis. I rewatched this afternoon to do some screencaps, and liked it a lot more mainly because I skipped past all the boring bits. Grin

BloodyElkFire · 17/01/2015 18:01

Hello wenchies

Suzie Shooter's LJ page has just made me Grin. Her writing is really good too. Mostly slash, but she has some very interesting story lines.....there was one about the four having been reincarnated or something, with Athos reliving their last battle through his dreams that's very good, I can really picture it as a TV show. If you can cope with the slash its worth a look.

And talking of AO3 there's another story running at the moment that's really really good, and genuinely heartbreaking - I might have had a little something in my eye at one point. Plus it's not explicit if that puts you off.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 17/01/2015 18:02

Oooh Fancy Smile

I like those too Mouse but this flavour is my favourite Smile Seriously, you don't have those dip thingies in Britain?
