There's just not enough in the world for Biff etc. a second time round. How parents with 3 or more dcs (or teachers) cope I don't know. I know at my DCs school they would focus on different children for reading in different weeks, so your child could plod along reading every book in each band for a while & then when it was their 'focus' week they'd be properly assessed & would suddenly accelerate, skipping loads of the books as they went. Whether my increasingly desperate comments in her reading record brought forward DDs 'focus week' I'll never know, the teachers were too tactful to say . DS had been slow to learn to read for nearly the whole of reception, whereas DD was really quick, it was killing both of us to plod!

How old is TB again? Young thirties I read in that recent interview that someone linked of his friendship with Marc Warren.
Is he 33? 32? 31? Can't recall. When I read that I felt really really old, and thought he was way too young for me.
