Not sure about Samara being his sister. They have made his mother's heritage clear and it was implied that his father was a comrade of Treville so most likely white. They could insert a convoluted plot line about her not really being a Moor etc but it seems way to far fetched.

Badders - they have created Rochefort as Buckingham haven't they. They take lots of ideas from the book(S) then create their own storyline. Like the baby episode last series was The Man in the Iron Mask. I quite like that they do it this way because if you can't do it in a purist way then simple inspiration is the best.

I agree about the music Elk. We loved the fighty music last season, it really brought the episodes to life. Oh dear.

The reason I said the sister thing is cos I think I remember reading some promo from filming time of this ep, when they said she was his half sister. It could have just been wrong. Yes, unless they have the same mum its hard to see how they are related. And this series seems to be focusing on his dad who is presumably white.
