BA in Lewis has just finished. Cannot believe the transformation in his looks in the last 5/6 years. Quite extraordinary really. Either that or hair and make up in OG did an amazing job. Men really do age better than women.

Have recorded it to watch tomorrow. He really has got more handsome as he's gotten older. Do think character and uniform have helped too

most definitely icemist uniform a big factor and his acting skills really did bring something lovely to the character

Been hovering here for a while, great to share my thing for CJ/BA with other like minded people. With that in mind does anyone know if we can view Reign in the UK....

Unfortunately Reign can only be viewed by streaming it online. BA has so far been in it for 1min 18 secs.
Next on 21 Jan and we should have a link the following day.
I've popped it on YouTube and hope to do the same next time.

I watched Lewis too, completely agree, I think he's bulked up slightly so he's not as slender as before, but he also seems more confident when acting, and he's grown into his face. I appreciated the younger BA's looks, but the current BA is very nice indeed! understatement of 2015 so far

Welcome speighty. Great to know there's another CJ obsessive fan. If you've been reading this thread you'll have realised that icemist is our tech queen (and fount of all CJ knowledge) and we rely on her to post clips for us! Oh and elsie can sort any ring tone for you!

For me, BA is only obsession material when he's chiseled jawed and preferably in low slung combats; his younger roles/look don't do it for me.

Yes, as orphan says, it is Mr Aldridge as Captain James that seems to be our main attraction. The low slung combats, big watch, wonderful forearms and long, expressive fingers make our insides flip over.

Coming back very upset after afternoon in town. A girl can't be invited for a tea at F&mason once in a lifetime by a former teacher she hasn't met in 20 years, without receiving menacing texts from prepubertal kid (and post puberal hubby) asking where the heck I am and why I am not back yet??!!

Elsie I was watching Lewis while we were eating and DH/DD said "what the hell are we watching this for" then all of a sudden BA came on and DH looked up and said, "that's a young Captain James!"They are really getting fed up with my addiction.
DD thinks I am sick in the head, especially when she saw me looking at fanfic. She says fan girling is strictly for teenagers, not old people. I am the wrong side of 45...

cherin if BA stuck in Reign for the foreseeable, then Theo could be in series 2. I'm sure he would do justice to the headset and combats. Unfortunately, he is my DD's main celeb crush!

Do you think the contestants should have monikers for the wrestling? I mean we've already got The Sausage, The Raisin and The Bulge. And would the Musketeers wrestle as an ensemble ?

Onefor surely the ff depends on the subject and not on your age. Tell your daughter that! I looked at the ones on Holby City (since I am a big fan of the series) and they were awful but the OG ones are beautifully written in the main. I honestly think any of the ones written by people on here, yourself included naturally, plus a few others, could be turned into an actual TV programme. Does she know you are a contributor?

Oneforthegirls, my husband asked my why I was taping it and I had to lie and say I wanted to watch the old lewis'!! Iloveblue, I have tired to catch up on some of the threads but I think it would take a week to do so! He does look rather hot in Reign so I need to figure out when that airs and if we can tune in. Distinct lack of BA on TV :(

Speighty loads of us on here had never been on a forum before so don[t worry about it. The majority of us on here now have been in it from the beginning and we refer to ourselves as "hardcore" - you would have to go back about five threads to discover the origins of that but basically an elderly friend of mine assumed that these sorts of threads were about porn! (This isn't of course unless you count the general lusting of CJ as porn. Some of us wish it could be I guess, mentioning no names. What's on here, stays on here and all that).

Oneforthegirls Speighty it's hilarious, I also has all my excuses to hand of why I was watching some random crime drama, that I've never watched before...there was much tv pausing and gnashing of teeth as people kept checking where I was and what I was doing.

Fortunately I wasn't picked up on it as DP was fending off small children whilst watching american footie on his phone - who said Tom Brady should wrestle?, I'm in full agreement!

speighty I think a week is a bit too little...and make sure you don't read threads 3 and 4 over lunch break, there are a few pages there that would make you soil all of your computer screen or get tea out of your nose ;-)
orphan we had proper High tea. Egg benedict, scone with lemon custard/jam, sweet selection. We didn't hit the cakes because we were really full!
And the jubilee room is AMAZING!!! But guess what? Half of the waiters are Italian! Spoils the experience a bit for me ;-)
I choose a Chai tea but tbh it wasn't spicy enough, the one I make at home is way richer (I just mix, toast and roughly beat in a pestle whichever spices I have handy, cardamom, cloves, fennel, pepper and cinnamon mostly. 5' top).
Anyway. It was nice to roam around Mayfair without being in a rush for meetings. :-)

Yes DD knows that I have contributed to FF, I kept it quiet initially. At first, she was disgusted, kept pulling faces and dissing me to her friends. Slightly more accepting now but still sniggers. How can a 13yr old make me feel so stupid!?

My DS when he saw I was reading fF said "that's for weirdos" , charming! Although he said the same about Tumblr! In thought I was being cool and at one with the kids... Apparently not!

Onefor has she read any of it? I guess teenagers are just a law unto themselves and of course they all feel sick at the thought that their parents know about sex! Anyway, we think you are ace! Does she know about the reviews you've had?

I think we should start from the assumption that once they hit a certain age, we ARE embarrassing full stop. I surely was like that with my mum...took me a while to understand. And now am going to see it from the other side of the barricade ;-)
