Oh, dodgy Rein costumes. Still lovely smile in the last one.

Oneforthegirls · 14/01/2015 07:26

Thanks Icemist that's much better. Can face the day now.
I'm also struggling with his hair in Reign. Looks a bit like a tight perm. One of the things I love about CJ's hair is where he has that school boy preppy parting thing going on rather than all over curl fest.

Richtea19 · 14/01/2015 07:39

oneforthegirls That all over curl thing hair style was in the Midsummer Murder too. I was putting it down to age, but perhaps it's just a dodgy stylist!

Onlygirljen · 14/01/2015 07:40

Morning all! Day off today - major snow outside, so looks like it will be a quiet one other than school run.

Welcome whajeb!

As handsome as he is in reign, he's no CJ! Those costumes are a bit too 70s porn star for my taste..who sent you the pics icemist?

Onlygirljen · 14/01/2015 07:42

Ha, richtea just noticed I'm not the only one that drew the 70s porn star comparison!

orphan · 14/01/2015 07:50

icemist your global tracker on BA has struck gold - comedy gold!! That first pic makes him look like someone out of The Importance of Ernest and I've a horrible feeling it's Lady Bracknell! Whoever the costume designer is should be taken to one side and quietly had a word with.

Glad you're feeling better though and OK to go back to work. And we know what that is now Wink - your head set and pointer thing will be ready and waiting.

orphan · 14/01/2015 07:56

The hair style is def porn star. He just needs a Burt Reynolds moustache.

Richtea19 · 14/01/2015 08:00

I'm having wicked thoughts, is it wrong to actually be slightly turned on at the thought that BA as a Porn Star? Oh dear, too early for all this!

Nickel45 · 14/01/2015 08:08

Wow, icemist, you truly are our little spy (aha, maybe you are really espio!?). OK, bit early for this! Fab pics, but yep, definitely CJ for me ... But I do love his hair ... Must go to work, must go to work .... Look at the time!!!

orphan · 14/01/2015 08:14

I wonder if a centre fold would be enough to do credit to his 'talents' - would it need to be a concertina pull out?

Ilovelblue · 14/01/2015 08:20

Don't know what you ladies think but in my mind icemist is in a bunker somewhere with her headset and monitors like a younger and more glamorous Judi Dench when shex plays M in the Bond films. CJ as 007 of course.

Richtea19 · 14/01/2015 08:27

Orphan, where would the staples be in the centre fold??;)

orphan · 14/01/2015 08:31

Ahh, but richtea that's why a concertina fold out would be useful - no staple in the 'prime' area!

Nickel45 · 14/01/2015 09:11

Ooh, a centrefold ... yes please!

Was thinking about this on the entire way to work, and I really love seeing the pics of BA, but it isn't the same as CJ. And actually I think I'm quite glad ... lusting over having an obsession over a fictional character is much better, right?!

But I think, just so that I can work on this theory, any further pictures of BA from your wonderful spy-y monitor screens would be lovely, icemist :)

Onlygirljen · 14/01/2015 09:12

Have to say, I don't mind the hair at all! It's the fur and low cut shirt that don't do it for me - maybe he needs to get his sword out for the full effect...

I'd be all over a concertina pull out like a rash!

orphan · 14/01/2015 09:42

Nope, afraid the all over curly hair doesn't work for me. I'm not generally a fan of curly hair on men (I think it might have been reading Of Mice and Men and the horrible little Curly in that and a fear of bubble perms) but made an exception for CJ. The Reign hair is a curl too far.

orphan · 14/01/2015 09:47

icemist do you have a swivelly chair in your operations room or do you prefer to stand and stride about authoritatively? Actually, now I'm picturing you doing that weird swiping in the air of holographic info screens that you see in sci fi films, if you know what I mean?Smile

cjwoofwoof · 14/01/2015 09:49

Morning! Finding the Reign pics a bit squirmy today. Face is perfect, don't mind the hair as it's still fingers-run-throughable; it's the dead fox lined cape I'm struggling with. BA defo needs the leather-clad D'Artagnan suit with arm protector and shoulder pad to carry off the period drama look I feel. Wouldn't mind giving him a hand in the dimly lit changing rooms and burning that hideous cape on his behalf, then helping him squeeze into the new outfit. Oops now I need to crouch down to grab locate that pin cushion...found it! Oh No, sorry Ben, wrong cushion, need to furtle round grope check a bit more Grin

orphan · 14/01/2015 09:55

Maybe the fur thing is his portable shag rug - flings it down whenever a nubile lady in waiting takes his fancy?

Rhubarb01 · 14/01/2015 10:03

Oh stop it you lot!! I am laughing my head off - thankfully no one can see me.

I agree with the comments re: the fur coat. For some totally obscure reason it reminds me of either Rula Lenska (I don't know why??) or with my WW2 hat on one of the blokes from Flanagan and Allen who wore the long coat ('Underneath the Arches.....'). Clearly I am on another planet. However, I don't mind the hair and the smile is very nice - so two out of three aint bad! But as you say CJwoof a bit of Musketeers leather would be a definite improvement. However, I suppose it is cold in Canada at the moment so the coat could be useful.

smallandtriangular · 14/01/2015 10:23

I like a coat but maybe not quite that hairy....

cjwoofwoof · 14/01/2015 10:25

Ooh Orphan I never thought of that. For some reason now I'm quite liking the fur coat. In fact looking at the size of it I could probably camp out at the front of it, clinging on like the baby gorillas do ie. Both arms wrapped round neck and both legs wrapped round the erm...pelvic area, whilst BA pulls said cape fully round and carries on acting and drinking from his goblet.

cjwoofwoof · 14/01/2015 10:27

Rhubarb I know why you thought of Rula Lenska - didn't she used to wear a full length fur coat in Rock Follies c.1976?

cjwoofwoof · 14/01/2015 10:32

Orphan imagine having to have your face buried in that chest for 8 hours a day until the coat is removed...and the leg ache from the tight pincer movement to stay in the correct undercover position whilst the acting continues. It'd be tough for sure, but this is 2015 not 1915 and I'd be happy to give it a go for Queen and country Wink

cjwoofwoof · 14/01/2015 10:35

Off to practice my groin grip action just in case I get the call. Back later.
