orphan just zoomed the pic to 200% and it would appear he is dressing to the right. The soft tape measure would have to be severely calibrated to accommodate that.

orphan what you mean lowering the tone! I think we did that on thread 2!!! At first I though it was his helmet... But then realised it was under his arm. Maybe just a shadow?

onefor yes I did think it looked that way (desperately trying to enlarge the shot). No worries, richtea and I are trained to cope with all eventualities.

Rhubarb thank you, that was a lovely chapter. So well written. I love that you gave than a chance to be snippy and annoyed with each other.

Well, never say never but I'm honestly not sure I could write any more on OG. - a bit rung out at the moment although obviously the last chapter is yet to follow and I will try not to collapse before then!!

"What have we learned?" well I have learned to put some bloody effort in and apply a bit of discipline to the task. I've got some ideas entirely of my own and not FF related that I'd like to give a go and maybe I could try to apply a bit of my new found discipline to it - although I owe it the family to spread it out a bit. So we'll see.

Definitely CJ more than BA for me too and CJ in combats being cross rather than CJ the civilian, although the restaurant scene has grown on me.
And thank you again elsie for sorting out the ringtones, I just LOVE CJ shouting Private Dawes at me every time my phone goes (although I did get some strange looks on the train home tonight)

I'm 60/40 CJ/BA. But not before Our Girl as he looked too young and clean. When he said it was 'the uniform' in the radio interviews it really is! Wasn't sure about restaurant scene at first as it wasn't CJ but now (after several viewings) I really love it. I think CJ has a lot of BA mannerisms (especially the lip bite)

I hope we get to see him in more stuff - not just reign that we have to download from Internet.

The cysts are almost certainly nothing to worry about but thank you for your concern. They are a pain in the neck (well breast) and as I've had two so close together he's ordered some hormone checks and I might gonna need some sort of hormone treatment. That all sounds terribly old and menopausal doesn't it?

Nickel - they do get sorted. Antibiotics sort out the infection, then I had it drained again (not strictly necessary but it gets rid of the obvious lump). Right that's enough of that. As you were, ladies!

icemist with you all the way. Hated restaurant scene to start with but now love it. Think it was initially the shock of seeing him in civvies. When he leans in to talk after the plates are taken away, the intense look in his eyes is gorgeous.

BA in Lewis y'day did a major tongue roll at one point with mouth wide open. best bit of suffering an hour and a half of drivel.

CJ all the way for me rather than BA and its defo the combats and being bossy, as well as the headset and forearms and fingers and watch and tongue roll and lip licking and frowny stern face and legs akimbo and posh boy Brize Nor-Hun and lovely eyes and...

... And lip biting ... Just watched Miranda and Tom Ellis does a good lip bite at the end ... Hmm ....

Bit disappointed with paddling pool Onefor as CJ was only one with his trousers on, but they were absolutely dripping wet which was a little bit of a bonus I suppose.

Ditto to all those Nickel - my mind wandered off a bit at thought of headset scene getting on the Bastion lorry in Ep 3 and I struggled to pull it back to describe the rest of my favourite bits of CJ

Suppose pool scene was a little gratuitous, but we like gratuitous. Wonder why we never saw CJ in shorts at all. Maybe he has thin legs and would shatter the illusion. Ankles looked a bit thin in blister scene mind you.
