I've got a feeling...that tonight's gonna be a good night

Help yourself to an ADMIT ONE pass if you're a fan of The Musketeers with a clear allegiance to at least one, preferably no more than four.

elk that's a common occurrence in Liverpool.

baddz it's a pita. And he continues to baffle experts. Most mornings go like this:

Me - "TM toast or cereal?"
TM -
Me - "toast then"
TM -
Me - "ok cereal it is"
TM - "no no no"
Me -

GUFFAW GUFFAW LOL Grin

Speaking of new girl Marguerite, here she is at last, carrying Aramis Junior around and parrying some opportunistic flirtation from his daddy. Entertaining as this is, it is merely an hors d'oeuvre to the main course of one of Athos's most classic and withering eye-rolls at Aramis, during which he manages to convey the sentiment "OMG ARAMIS, I cannot BELIEVE you are a) trying to get close to your baby when you KNOW it will all end horribly, b) probably still mooning over the Queen behind your luxuriously stylish facial hair, and c) shamelessly flirting with some poor woman LIKE THE TART YOU ARE (yes, I know you ONLY looked at her and waved but THOSE THINGS ARE HIGH-GRADE FLIRTING FOR YOU) whose heart you will probably BREAK MESSILY in order to further your own continuing interests in plans a) and b), and I will probably have to clear up the mess and IT WILL BE TERRIBLE, NOW REMIND ME WHY I AM YOUR FRIEND AGAIN???", using only the single word "What?" Now, THAT'S some quality acting right there, Mr Burke.

ApricotCrush · 11/01/2015 10:02

Grin Sparks

Baddz · 11/01/2015 10:02

Omg...could you just sort of line up all the options and let him sort it himself?
Bless him.
Ds2 does this;
Me: what do you want for breakfast then?
Ds2: toast
Me: there you go
Ds2: I wanted porridge
Me: then why did you ask for toast?
Ds2: I did want toast but then I changed my mind
Me: well you didn't tell me
Ds2: I dont want toast
Me: souhfsojbfljnfsljbrkubjlbfeljblrgkytxyrxjhvjkgyrsytfkub ok, porridge it is then!

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 11/01/2015 10:03

OMG READ IT you lot, I am snorting tea & porridge at every turn.

Foxy - lots of blankets. Lyndie - glad you got some sleep in the end. Wicked - brrrrrr! Apricot - I'll look at that link later. And then bookmark it for every week.

Elk - quite a few matches there, especially Florence, Prague, Sweden, Nepal and Ethiopia. Off the top of my head I've got Baja California (looking for blue whales), Uganda (I think they've got mountain gorillas), Madagascar, New Zealand.

I'd better go and get dressed.

Baddz · 11/01/2015 10:04

Reminds me of a story a German comic told once...
A family had 3 children but their youngest didn't speak.
They were very worried.
One day when he was about 5 years old they sat down to breakfast.
He looked up from his bowl and said
"This porridge is cold"
They were all amazed.
"Why haven't you spoken before!?" They all cried
"Up until now everything has been satisfactory"
:)

Enormouse · 11/01/2015 10:23

I love that sparks. Grin

baddz tried that. He comes up with a revolting concoction of things mixed together that he won't eat. Then babymouse eats it .

The slts keep saying to put things out of his reach so he has to ask for them. But he will either ignore me and wander off, begin constructing a giant tower to get what he wants when I'm distracted or get really frustrated and start pinching or shouting. And I'm running out of places to put things he can't get too. So far he has managed to open/break all my stair gates, open child locks and tiny 'childproof' pots and construct huge towers that he climbs on top of like a mountain goat. He has managed to get on top of the roof of FILs jcb before. Oh and he can dress himself and put on his own shoes and socks.

He has the motor skills and cognition of a 5/6yo whilst being largely non verbal.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/01/2015 10:28

Oh good lord - look at you all yapping on now! Grin
Foxy - yes to blankets - otherwise the hay gets a bit itchy. We also have blankets in the cwtch cupboard.

(And another vote here for Red Scharlach)

PMSL at the musketeer reviews Grin Grin Hilarious!!!

Yes, you must all come to Sweden and visit me! We would have so much FUN!!! Smile

Bads Aaaaw Wink

Elk Krakow is gorgeous!!

Why don't you all dump your kids and husbands somewhere and we wenches can travel together all over the world? Grin

I would like to see more of Britain, I've only been to London (4 times). I'm thinking of going on a British Wench Tour and visit all of my wenches Smile

I actually advertised for a travel companion some years ago, because I desperately wanted to travel but all my friends were either in a relationsship, afraid of flying, party animals or just someone I didn't want to spend more than a couple of hours with let alone go abroad with Hmm

So I found two candidates, one of which turned out to be a total moron and one which I clicked instantly with and we've been to Krakow, Amsterdam, Vienna, Bratislava, Prague, London and Paris Smile

Baddz · 11/01/2015 10:40

Wow! That's one bright little boy!

Enormouse · 11/01/2015 10:44

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 11/01/2015 10:49

Oh, and Bads If you like walled cities you should go to Visby, an old medieval town on the island Gotland here in Sweden, it's fucking gorgeous!!! Smile
