Something definitely needs to be said about the unexpected highlight of this episode: D'Artagnan ripping Athos's scarf off. Maybe not in words, though: more in the form of some sort of aroused growling noise. Personally, I like to think Athos took D'Artagnan straight home afterwards and showed him EXACTLY how impressed he was by his performance in the field. But yes, straight out of leftfield comes possibly the slashiest thing that's happened on this show so far. Who told them that what we needed was hot guys ripping each other's clothes off? Whoever it was, please write back to the BBC and tell them we need MORE OF THIS SORT OF THING. (Salacious footnote: D'Artagnan must have known that scarf would come off in one pull, because accidentally strangling your mate in public is never a good look. It's therefore my head-canon that it's not the first time he's pulled it off like that...)

Might do a rewatch whilst ironing. It proved difficult to do on iPad at work last week. You'd think that eating sandwiches, with headphones on, whilst looking at an iPad screen might indicate "I'm on my lunch and I'm watching something". Apparently, it means "please ask me to do things which can quite easily wait another 20 minutes or so".

Morning Carolina- not much happeneing :) though it's still glorious sunshine here - I feel I ought to get some washing on the go... Or organise a beach trip with lots of layers and wooly hats.

Morning all! Hope everyone is well today? It is quite nice here today, but windy so it's only a matter of time before it rains I think.

Morning all. I had a 3am rewatch (FMI). Extra points on S2E2 are:

1. The Musketeers are much closer to the King in this series. In S1E1 Kingy didn't even know who Athos was now they're on first name terms and at the front of the church at the Dauphin's christening! I know that's probably for the benefit of the telly than anything else.

1. I've realised one of the reasons I didn't quite enjoy it as much was the appearance of the Scottish hardmen. Our boys were fabulous as usual but these actors (Stuart Bowman etc) turn up in everything I watch, Taggart, Rebus, any Scottish drama or theatre requiring a hardman and it's such a cliche! Like the casting people thought 'ooh we'll pick them, they're good' without thinking 'Lyndie has seen them 10 times in the last year'. This lead me to looking at IMDB at which actors/actresses have just done 1 episode each, the list is impressive!!!

Well I was awake from 1.30-5.30 because some posh folk were yapping loudly in the street, a car alarm went off and I just couldn't drop off again! But DH let me sleep until 9 so sanity partially restored!

We've had the most pathetic snow for the last 24 hours. White stuff is falling out of the sky but none of it is on the ground! Disappointing!

Looked at a house yesterday. It has damp and asbestos but fell a little bit in love with it!

Must do something now! Have a fabulous day everyone.
