To recap, I need to:

  • keep my recording because that will be available when iplayer isn't
  • download iplayer to my personal work phone
  • download iplayer to both iPads
  • download iplayer to my kindle
  • see if I can download iplayer to my work computer
  • TV has iplayer already

Then watch on all devices at any given opportunity. Except the recording because that won't count. Will it count everytime I watch on iplayer?

AnneOfAramis · 04/01/2015 11:59

I need to be in essay writing hell today whilst I ignore DC trashing the house and I have committed to making duck a l 'orange today because we had duck left in the freezer. No friggin idea what I am doing.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 04/01/2015 12:03

So do we have to watch as well as download for it to count towards figures? Or is it the download alone that counts? APRICOT!

Haven't even attempted iPad or phone Hmm

Might have to attempt to rig up some kind of head contraption out of say, kitchen roll tubes, to enable me to rewatch on my phone while running. Because nothing could possibly go wrong at all.

bletherskate · 04/01/2015 12:16

Sunday greetings and thanking you for lovely welcome last night - will need some time to get settled in - catching up with all the stuff happening :-)

and lovely to be mentioned on the catching -up thread, i feel I have arrived :-)

AnneofAramis - I too need too write an essay today...dc making a castle for a school project ( plenty of inspiration just waiting to sourced on Musketeers. I only watch for the castles, see.)

HermioneWeasley · 04/01/2015 12:17

Ah milady you think it's a double bluff?

What happened to Milady? Did she die in the last series? I am missing her and the Cardinal. I found his funeral too much to bear.

bletherskate · 04/01/2015 12:23

milady will definitely be back!

Cardinal I'm not really missing tbh.

imho, he'd kind of been used up as a baddie - in essence he was really on the same side as the Musketeers - with this new guy, you don't know what his true agenda is. I'm hoping they show some redeeming features, it's important to be personally invested in the baddie :-)

BloodyElkFire · 04/01/2015 12:24

Welcome blether or are you Kate.... only watches the castles......don't believe a word of it!

No need for coyness in here, ours all got thrown out with the rubbish a year ago along with our dignity

Which staggeringly handsome leather clad man floats your boat then? We on the Athos queue are especially welcoming

AnneOfAramis · 04/01/2015 12:29

Oh god a castle.

Hermione - Athos let her go on pain of death if she comes back to Paris.

bletherskate · 04/01/2015 12:30

Hi Elkfire - it's ok you can put away the welcome knife, I'm a King-girl :-)

But I'm also heading down the Captain Treville road recently ( ie, since Friday)

AnneOfAramis · 04/01/2015 12:32

Listening to the podcast. The interviewer is asking all the right question.

HermioneWeasley · 04/01/2015 12:35

Thanks Anne, now you say that, I do remember

AnneOfAramis · 04/01/2015 12:35

Hahahaha....

Adrian Hodges just said that they wanted costumes that were authentic to the period... more importantly they wanted them to look COOL.

And oofftt they do look so bloody cool.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 04/01/2015 12:36

Thanks Apes. Those trousers looks soooooo good on him, mmmm

AnneOfAramis · 04/01/2015 12:44

Adrian Hodges makes me want to be a script writer. I love the passion. It is brilliant.

MavisGrind · 04/01/2015 13:03

Afternoon all.

It's one of those bright, sunny and frosty winter days here which, with the light streaming through the windows, makes your house look like a filthy midden. At least it's still getting dark early.

I reckon with 'the new king' stuff they're just assuming he's dead no reckoning on our boy Dog to save the day.

DCs are back today I've missed them although you can guarantee they'll be driving me up the wall within ten minutes of arriving. Hmm

Flopsy28 · 04/01/2015 13:07

Afternoon all, I'm still not dressed and am on 4th coffee. I'm refusing to believe that I'm back at work tomorrow.

Just the usual Sunday shite to get through here, p.e. Kits, check book bags and hope there was no homework set (evil teachers), check uniform, locate sanity.....

Layers lubbers

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 04/01/2015 13:09

Yo wenches ^^ Grin

Just seen the bit about the confessional on the last thread - not a good idea! Team Cardinal has spent many fun hours in the Cardinal's confessional.....

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 04/01/2015 13:11

Gratuitous pic of Dog in his pants......

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 04/01/2015 13:37

Oooooooh I've just had 3 oranges in a row in my Revels wooohooo.

Anyway. In Ade's podcast (feel I can call him Ade as he's been in here so much - he even said he checks out stuff online "without making a fuss") he said Milady reappears in a way we will NOT be expecting. I reckon she's going to save Dog & the King.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 04/01/2015 13:37

BTW Adrian. If there is even ONE mention of a Tavern or a wench or an Inn in S2 - we are ON TO YOU. And I will scream the frigging place down

ChaiseLounger · 04/01/2015 13:40

Blether - a king girl? Really?
Tell me all.
Thought he was superb in episode 1. And 2 will be all about king. Can't wait.

AnneOfAramis · 04/01/2015 13:42

I don't know what that storyline is Sparks. Was it on the spolier thing that we debated about. Because I did not yield.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 04/01/2015 13:44

Yes that's why I was trying subtle Smile

bletherskate · 04/01/2015 13:44

Hi Chaise :-)

Yes, the king - all those teeth, all that hair, fab clothes! whats not to love?

Also he's kind of vulnerable and loveable....and, I think he steals every scene he's in. to Treville - " I'm still waiting..." best delivery of the episode :-)

MavisGrind · 04/01/2015 13:50

Awww, Kingy is rather marvellous, but nlt. I did like Ryan in The Hobbit though.

Congratulations on your orange Revel experience Sparks. I haven't had Revels for years.

Flops - hope this week goes ok for you, it is, at least, a shorter term. I think we said after the Summer hols, once you're back into it it's fine - its the anticipation of it that's shite. Grin
