Good morning everyone. Inset day here today (for both DCs luckily, it saves on the moaning), so no-one's dressed yet. Commiserations to all those who had to return to reality today, hope it's all going well.

I plan on being a bit more productive later, DD has agreed to help out with the cleaning again (for pocket money, naturally) so I don't have to do it tomorrow when I have the house to myself, bed linen to be changed (so lots of washing badders ), decorations down & rounding the day off with some governor stuff.

Well it's tired me out just looking at that list

Afternoon all. for those on inset although it's nice to get back into a bit of routine, even if 6am felt a little harsh. First morning went well - had four more than I was expecting so I'm hoping that bodes well.

Well, I'm jolly glad I put the washing on - since coming back from hell soft play I've discovered that we had a very helpful digger go up the road clearing out the gully's and ditches to clear all the standing water on the road. And he dug up the water main in the process, so now there is even more water all over the road.

Fortunately for us, we are downstream, so still getting a dribble of water, but that will go when they turn it off to fix it.
