Why won't Gary just sat he loves her?
How come Miranda is looking so glam - not like her usual character?

She did look lovely but out of character. I didn't think it was very good either. Hope New Year's Day episode is better

It just grated for some reason. Just seems a bit old now, and not funny. Which is a shame because i love Miranda and the earlier episodes.

Another one disappointed here. It was almost like her heart wasn't in it and the acting was dire. My toes were, what I call curling at that end scene where Miranda and Gary were trying to appear upset.

Wasn't good unfortunately and I'm normally a fan.

We normally love Miranda, ds has been known to roll around the floor laughing but this episode didn't raise a chuckle from anyone. Too much talk about intercourse and just very very dull.

Another disappointed fan here as well. It really felt like they were just going through the motions, and I think the number of montages from old episodes showed just how much they were struggling for anything genuinely funny.

I really, really hope the second one is better, otherwise it will be a massive anti-climax.

Everyone was so needy and ridiculous. I know it's supposed to be silly, but comedy should feel truthful and none of it rang true.

We were watching this, and I said to dh, I think she should marry the other guy. Gary is flakey - he only proposed because the other guy did, he won't say he loves her, now he's dumped her!

Really unfunny episode I thought - and way too much talk about sex (which my 7yr old dd was watching avidly). I have at times really LOL'd at past Mirandas - the psychiatrist one was really funny - this was just dull.

Yes definitely too much sex talk yesterday and she should have married the other guy, I've always thought that Miranda and Gary are more like brother and sister.

I felt that Gary had trouble with the really bad lines he had to say when he was dumping her. There are plenty of reasons he should run for the hills rather than marry someone so self absorbed, but the "not trusting" thing was lame.

I think Miranda really was going through the motions with it. It definitely feels like she's done these 2 episodes just as a way to end the series

I don't know why they feel a need to wrap things up neatly. Just don't make any more episodes. Nobody will care and we can draw our own conclusions as to what happened.
