Why won't Gary just sat he loves her?
How come Miranda is looking so glam - not like her usual character?

She stood up to her mother, juiced the fruit friends and managed to say sex. Growth for Miranda. Grin

Did she find herself as a person? She just had overbearing friend move in with her, went for an unlikely solo horse ride and wore a giraffe onesy. They all seemed like things she could have done before looking at the clips from previous episodes the beeb aired.

I actually thought it was really great that before she got married to Gary she kind of found herself as a person and didn't neeeed him to complete her. Seemed like a good message for her fans. Be yourself and all that.

Tears from me too. Although I didn't know about Tom cheating on Tamsin, that would have soured it a bit...

I hadn't watched it before the end 2 episodes and mainly found the friend intensely irritating. Gary can come and live with me, I like savoury muffins.
There's only so many times Miranda can gallop and make jokes about being tall and clumsy before it gets a bit boring but series based on a dominant "personality" are often a bit like that.

I was hoping it would turn out to be one of those coin operated horse rides :o

When she was on the horse on the beach, I was quite hoping that it wouldn't move so that she'd have to get off & gallop beside it!

The galloping was great.

2nd wasnt much better then 1st, she isnt funny any more, has run out of stories

and the galloping???? mad Grin

some things need to end, and tbh this should have done a series or so ago

It truly made me smile the galloping bit and shed a tear at the end but as others have said, that was as much about Miranda ending and her genuine emotion at that as the plot itself. Mind you I cry at anything.

Ds has only just started watching it but loved these and we have got a boxed set now of the other series.

A few too many sex references for pre-watershed but it was just the word really at least.

Weirdly ds has got a crush on Stevie...especially odd as she is a few years older than me!!!

Kill, second episode definitely better than the first. Smile

I think my favourite bit was the entire cast galloping across the city to the restaurant.

I can confirm all tears were real. I know someone who works on it and the cast genuinely love each other and doing the show. Miranda, Sarah and Patricia all spend a lot of time together in real life.
Haven't caught second episode yet so hoping it was better than first. Smile

Yes CFSKate Grin Thank you for putting me out of my misery!

When she was filming the last episode she tweeted that she felt really emotional, so I'm sure it was genuine.
It was a great ending and I think the right thing to do no more. These episodes weren't as funny, it had run its course.

In the last bit to camera she seemed really genuine.

Quick question as it's really bugging me. What was the music played on the piano as Miranda and Stevie left the bar?

Just to clarify the bit that made us cry was her piece to camera, not the plot which was cheesy in the extreme. You could see that she was pretty tearful and I would think that was genuine.

I was at the filming of the psychiatrist episode and it was filmed almost entirely as shown, just a few retakes. Such fun!

In tears here, loved that she recognised mother issues.
