I think they're leaving it up to the viewer to decide if the dad is delusional now, or if Ollie really is alive and hidden in Russia somewhere because his death was faked.

Series 2 looks to be a whole new case.

I thought it was good because in cases like that, you almost never know what really happened and that's what they've shown us ( or rather, not shown us)

So, is Ollie dead or not ? Clearly he can't be if there's a season 2.
Why couldn't he just find Ollie them set up a charity finding missing children - lots of potential series and storylines with that plot.

FFS! 8 episodes, some of them really slow and then they cram all that in at the end and still leave us hanging. Disappointed!
