Just wanted to share a fan fic that I'm really enjoying at the moment. CJ is still in the army - phew. And only an hour or so til lunchbreak....hope you can Wait Out.

I got free flash drive in work yesterday so going to try and put my CJ photos on it later on. Would hate to lose them lol. Plus they won't be on the laptop then for hubby to see

What do you mean aurora, you would not share your breakfast dvd with your mum?? I would be very happy to oblige a 80yrs old lady with such a taste and appreciation for life!!

(People in my family closer to 80 would either fall apart crying about war memories, lost relatives, hunger etc...or tell me that I am completely insane and I am neglecting the offspring. Which is untrue. Unless you count the time kiddo dropped a pot of yogurt which spluttered everywhere, and then liked it from is socks and trousers...before I lifted my eyes from here and saw him. Sssssshhhh, it's our secret, ok? he's not going to catch anything serious, I think, the yogurt was organic and the socks clean)

I have ordered her a copy of the DVDS, as she tells me she was the only one out of her friends that watched Our Girl as they all watch Downton Abbey.

I think the BBC made a mistake putting Our Girl at the same time as Downton, as a lot of people missed this. I know the BBC were trying for the younger audience, but I think they should have aired it before or after Downton instead of trying to compete with a well established show. It will be interesting to if my mothers friends enjoy Our Girl as much as we all did.

Off to yet another sainsbury's on way home from work in search on stag pants, I'm nothing I'd not completely nuts 100% committed to the mission.
I'm also liking the uni fanfic storyline.

Oh my goodness, you lot are going to get me sacked! I have a quick check on here at lunchtime .... and up flashes richtea's post .... quickly try to shut the window down .... hysterical laughter at the computer .... strange looks from my colleagues .... fingers crossed that there isn't another round of "voluntary redundancies" any time soon! Will now have to pop to the toilets to look on my phone in peace, and assess icemists pictures .... must remember to lock my screen before I go ...!!

richtea am quite interested to know exactly which sites you search on?! Now you've planted the truly horrible thought in my mind that that's what CJ is hiding under his combats...

Let me tell you (as you are on that note) that my BGF would love them!!! It may be a good idea for my Xmas present to him, I was running out of options and can't be bothered looking for more stilettos size 11.5 ;-)

I'm really enjoying all the links to the fan fic but have decided that for me CJ is at his best in the army. Stories where he's back to being a civilian just don't hold the same appeal for me. I need him in combats (interesting bulge and all) arms folded, barking orders. Although the restaurant scene in the series is one of my faves and he's obviously not in uniform then, it's also the culmination of all the sexual tension, so the lack of combats doesn't matter!

Oh monopod you're so lucky to still have children you can choose clothes for. My son buys all his own stuff now, as he's got a part time job and seems to spend the money as soon as it hits his account and my daughter has reached that tricky teen stage where anything I pick for her gets a look of scorn or disgust!
