Hi everyone. icemist Well done on all the technical side of our fanfics. Haven't had a chance to get on there yet, looking forward to it later. Isn't it great what we've achieved? Well not me but feel like a proud parent. And interesting to hear TGs reply to your query. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to see all the other stuff BBC had filmed that didn't get used?
How are you all getting on with your ep 3 research? Jealous. Like orphan I am having to wait for it. YouTube clips just don't cut it.
Will join you in something fizzy though, except only have G + T. Does that count?

Well done everyone. Am having glass of wine (nothing fizzy in the house) to celebrate. Need long soak in bath - muscles ache from gym classes, so obviously have been putting some bloody effort in ?? have done more press ups in the past week than ever before, still good practice for pulling each over walls hey monopod?

Now despite what I said earlier, went on to you tube to see what end bit of ep 3 I could watch and have found a tongue bit I'd never picked up on before. In the van before they stop for Sohail. Can't believe I missed it before on 1st 20th time round!

What an exciting night I've had. Picked up somebody else's presentation at an hour's notice (hence having to work on it tonight - original presenter is ill) but in the meantime forgot that I had promised to make mince pies for the meeting tomorrow so having double checked the facts and layout, had to dig in and make another bloody effort in the kitchen. Who was it who asked what household chores you would want CJ to do yesterday? Well, if he could come and do the pile of washing up in my kitchen, I would adore him for always. That's silly, how could I adore him more than I do already?

Love seeing the fanfics in print. What keen and eager soldiers we have become.

Off to bed now, too tired for anything else. xx

Sorry, forgot to say, but I am happy to give the pre-restaurant fill-in some thought but I doubt I can come up with anything this week. It would be the weekend at the earliest. Rhubarb set us off last time but she sounds as if she is snowed under. Any other volunteers?

I confess I only have episode 3 available, all the others are in my memory (very well in my memory, given I saw them a few times)... But never fear, ideas may pop up when one least expect them!

Would this be okay to start you off from the "no more waiting out" scene?

As he lay in his hospital bed, Captain James held his hand out to Molly and pulled her towards him. His deep brown eyes were gazing at her as he stroked her face. "There's nothing in our way anymore, we don't have to wait out. " Molly stared back at him, a hesitant smile forming on her face. Her heart was still racing from what he had just told her, that the army had always come before everything, even his marriage, until he'd met her. That now he wanted to resign his commission. And after everything that had happened, here she was, finally with him, and he was telling her they could be together. Her mouth was dry and she swallowed. She wanted to say so many things but nothing came out. " The Corporal's waiting for me, I've got to go back to Barracks."
" Molly..."
She tried desperately to hold back her tears but one trickled down towards his thumb.
"Sir, I'm just so happy you're still alive, so happy."

What are you guys doing to me .... all the way to work I've been thinking about this, firegirl, great start! (I'm quite amazed I managed to get to work in one piece!). I'm glad we are doing this, it was all a bit wierd in the show and really needed more explanations I think!

Anyway, how about this next? I tried to write more, but didn't like any of it, so just this!! Feel free to ignore or change though, as writing is SO not my thing!

I think I'll sit this one out. I made a start on something last week and I don't know if it's any good. I'm tinkering away here and there and may nearly be finished but equally I could just abandon it.

Then at 3:30am I was woken by my neighbour slamming his door on the way out (he wakes me up every day doing this) and another ff storyline popped into my head so I lay awake for a couple of hours thinking about that.

Did I mention I'm moving house next week. I REALLY don't have time for this. Stupid brain.

It's amazing how this is getting into our heads, pixie, isn't it - I have never had a problem sleeping (!) and lately, I can't get to sleep and am waking early thinking about all this stuff - completely mental, or what.

Please carry on with the fic you are working on, you can always post on here first for us to have a look at, if you wanted to? I, for one, would love to read it :) We're all of us, trying stuff we haven't before, and it's brilliant ... I would say, go for it!

(Can you tell, I'm at work today .... really should focus up a bit on what I am supposed to be doing!)

You cockwombles brighten my morning! I get some pics, some fanfic and the reassurance of knowing there's other people out there thinking the same stuff as me when they shd be working/sleeping/Christmas shopping. You're all fu**ing awesome.

My extensive research into the tongue-tip suck continued into the early hours last night. Unfortunately I must've missed it so need to start again.... Richtea yes there is a slight suck during the "piss off Dawesie" scene, but there is defo another more delicious one somewhere in the 5 hr footage. Feel a bit of an epic fail for not remembering exactly when it happened, but it's so hard to concentrate when faced with those eyes, lips, cheekbones, forearms, furrowed eyebrows, curly bits of hair wisps at the nape of a perfect neck.

I am SO going to get the sack if my Boss reaslises what I have been doing all morning! Anyway .....

Molly tried to get up to leave, but the Captain held onto her hand and pulled her back down. She just looked at him, desperate to tell him how she felt, but not being able to put it into words. Of course she wanted to be with him, more than anything she had ever wanted before. But at the moment, all she cared about was that the Boss was alive, and she needed him to stay alive. Sitting with Smurf, waiting to see whether he was going to wake up was the longest night of her life. But what if it happened again .... the nurse had said that the latest bleed was unexpected ... what if ....

Would also confirm having difficulty sleeping. Can't get zombies out of my head. Half way through writing chapter 5 and I am starting to look like my subject matter!
