I just thought If BA looks at certain parts of this thread and not reads them in context of the discussion. Especially some of of the ones where the 'measuring of him' was being considered , although really funny when you read them all . If you missed the bit about the merchandise etc etc he may be too scared to come back to the UK in case a bunch of obsessed fans pounce on him at the airport with a measuring tape and stag accessories....

Richtea that pic really captures the leg stance a treat. I love that "I'm in Charge" air he still manages to give off, even in a drawing. Think I might gonna adore CJ forever (in my head of course, coz in RL there is no such Adonis in existence that I've ever met). Double woof-woof

orphan oh never thought about clothes, that would of been something else to draw. Would naked be wrong?.. Very synchronised, as I said before I am good at sharing!

(Before you get a weird opinion of me...I only happen to know about his work because I was left during long summer holidays in charge of my granny. Extremely devoted. Only books allowed downstairs were pious and well vetted. Unfortunately she never realised that her younger son left a collection of comic strips in his old bedroom. And not all of them were comic. I was only looking for Snoopy and Charlie Brown, I swear!!)

Perhaps the OG annual could incorporate a comic strip of the Milo Manara variety (for special subscribers only...) And obviously richtea would do the drawings as they're her speciality...

Orphan , I thought the picture captured "casual measuring". Because we don't want to come accross as desperate in any way do we. After all we are true professionals who it comes to seat measurements. I did think of something g for Operation Bulge... The grab method!

Yes, the nonchalant raised leg definitely suggests casual, unhurried, leisurely measuring.

aurora yes you're right - we're not doing measuring for any personal gain whatsoever, but purely in order to be sure of a quality product: the CJ doll. It would be reprehensible to produce a doll that did not have the correct leg to crotch to seat ratio.

I could never live with myself. I take merchandising very seriously. Hence, the need for strict quality control and a full hands on approach.

We don't want to get done by Trading Standards.

Good heavens! I've been writing Christmas cards most of the evening (not very exciting) but I did have episodes 4 and 5 of OG running in the background to help me focus up! Is this Friday night madness? I come back to this and find we have two more newcomers who've broken cover. Is that four this week? Amazing! Welcome everyone - maybe you have some additional skills to bring to the table as it were that we've not yet covered??

'Heavenly' was filmed in Vancouver. Is that a series? Could that be what he is filming now?

Orphan Of course the measuring is not for personal gain . It's vital research for your merchandise and the product needs to be perfect.

Therefore in depth accurate measurements need to be taken from the subject matter, which just happens to be a 6f 4inc dark haired male who looks quite good in army gear.

Question: if the measurements need to be spot on, do you measurement the subject matter with or without clothes? ..
