... well, depending upon how much we talk!

Carrying on from thread one.

OP posts:

I saw him too. I love Robin, hope he's back next year. He's carving himself out a niche in the 'larger/older ladies who give it a good go' category.
He gets on so well with his partners, he must be a real sweetheart IRL.

TeaandHobnobs · 18/10/2014 23:23
  1. wtf is it with Joanne and pink?
  2. will someone please give Judy several whiskeys before performing in future
  3. I love Scott but he just has no hope, does he?

I thought there was some weird scoring tonight - I predicted bang on for the "good" ones, but felt there wasn't much consistency about the scoring around the lower end.

I thought Tim and Judy both tried so hard tonight - yes they are crap, but they really gave a good effort I thought.

I thought Simon's marks were a bit harsh, his performance was so good, and I don't think they criticised his technique much either? They said he had great swivel.

Really don't understand why Len thought Caroline's quickstep was the dance of the night, I thought it looked a bit tatty?

Pixie annoyed me this evening - it was beautifully danced, but it was a bit reticent.

Mrsjayy · 18/10/2014 23:53

Yeah judy has said she loves botox good for her least she admits it. Its weird hearing my towns accent on telly judys town is much posher than mine but its the same accent

digerd · 19/10/2014 07:47

I love Caroline's dancing , usually, but her quickstep had lots of mistakes especially losing her balance.
Yes, I agree a bit tatty is how it was.

The choreography could have been too difficult for her at that speed. Pasha expecting too much frrom her, perhaps?

MsInterpret · 19/10/2014 07:59

Mrsjayy didn't know we were from that neck of the woods. My dad lives in Dunblane and I grew up few miles further up the A9.

MsInterpret · 19/10/2014 08:00

Agree is weird hearing the accent on TV. So many Scottish accents on TV are OTT/poor fakes!

ppeatfruit · 19/10/2014 09:23

Titsalina I've never seen Blue perform do they do Take That type dancing? Which would give Simon an advantage. I 'heart' him though, cuteness personified!!"
Darcy looked amazing last night she has more style in her little finger than Tess does in her whole body Grin

I feel sorry for Natalie (the nicest pro. IMO)

" " """ ''''''''''' Joanne who's an amazing dancer but will be out soon.

' ' " And Anton who seems lovely and also won't be in for much longer!

Titsalinabumsquash · 19/10/2014 11:06

I think Blue have done a spot of Dancing even if it's not ballroom they will still be used to learning choreography and the discipline of routines.
I quite like Simon too but I do think the judges should score based on some of them having some history I dance training.

Mrsjayy · 19/10/2014 11:10

Oh I don't live in Dunblane but near

AmIthatHot · 19/10/2014 12:32

I live quite near Dunblane too. It a nice to hear an accent that is so normal, except I'm not as well spoken as Judy. She has a lovely voice

Mrsjayy · 19/10/2014 13:16

Oh im not as well spoken as Judy my speech t is speckled with Ayes and Naws Blush

ppeatfruit · 19/10/2014 14:21

Well Titsalina Darcey did say she's being more picky harder on the contestants with training, she didn't actually say the word but I knew what she meant, even being mean while Pixie was crying which was a bit Hmm. Not sure if they ALL do that though.

Titsalinabumsquash · 19/10/2014 15:01

I love Darcey, she's the lady I most wish to be, she's so elegant and graceful.

ppeatfruit · 19/10/2014 16:02

Agree about Darcey of course! Thinking about CRH; if he was really fair (and I don't have a problem with low marks) He should be firmer with the trained ones and he doesn't seem to be firm enough IMO Hmm.

ThursdayLast · 19/10/2014 19:27

Oh my goodness my DS (18mo) is dancing to the music then applauding at the end everytime SmileSmileSmile

LottieMumofWilfJenkins · 19/10/2014 19:34

Someone shouted something when Judy went through but i didnt catch what!

Rubyrooo · 19/10/2014 19:35

Signing in! Wow, didn't expect Mark to be in the dance off. Well done to Judy, she looked thrilled. Kristina is sooo annoying with the tears, she's supposed to be the professional!

digerd · 19/10/2014 19:36

Mark in the dance off - a travesty. Scott looked shocked too.

OwlCapone · 19/10/2014 19:37

It will surely be Scott or Tim up against Mark in the dance off.

Minimammoth · 19/10/2014 19:38

I don't get Gaga and Betten they're just shouting.

MsJupiter · 19/10/2014 19:39

I just said that to DH. Weird as I'm sure they can both sing.

Minimammoth · 19/10/2014 19:39

Bennett not batten tch

Tanaqui · 19/10/2014 19:40

Love the dress on the professional girl dancing now- while gaga is singing.

Minimammoth · 19/10/2014 19:42

I don't think they were singing in the same key even. But I know nothing.

reallyneedmoresleep · 19/10/2014 19:43

Why does Lady Gaga look like that? Weird (even for her)
