I missed the beginning tonight, what was the point of Donny being there?

Aliaz (?) seems like he's having much more fun this year.
Frankie and Kevin were great I thought, and although I'm desperately and unfairly biased against her and Caroline, I thought they both did really well, really entertaining.
My Max from eastenders crush is becoming less embarrassing (thank goodness).
Thom and Judy improved.
Natalie is still the best thing on the show, what a wonderful support she is.

I thought it was funny that the panel were rendered insensible with giggles by Mark's dance.

Mark was absolutely hilarious. I didn't really know who he was when the series started but the combination tonight of the costume, his comedy skinny legs and duck's bottom but also determined commitment made me roar with laughter. Hope he stays in.

I think most people were tbh We particularly liked the first bit with her clinging to the wall, we ending up reminiscing about Susannah's samba last year where she yelled for Kevin to come and save her.

Then we discovered this. That's a good shimmy!

With the choreography, I thought the pro dancer was responsible for that and it was sort of part if the competition? Noticed on Claud 9 Thom thanked two other people for theirs and said he hoped they did it justice?

Donny, what a dick, ruined the show for me, why on earth would you invite him to be a guest judge and even worse his votes count? Sheeesh!

Not all the pro dancers have experience with all the dances though - they should be able to choreograph the ten dance ones themselves (plus American Smooth because that's pretty much an exhibition foxtrot/quickstep/Viennese) but I think it's pretty normal for them to have help with salsa, argentine tango and Charleston.

General thoughts was entertaining overall. Steve was much better. Judy a bit better, Scott awful . The pop crew don't really interest me but did like Frankie. Max Jake was great.
Donny was a pita the whole programme and poor Darcy with her huge crush on Steve . Thought Tess looked lovely for once really like the presentation now they have both settled in. Roll on tonight. I think bargain hunt gadgie will go but probably should be Scott

Darcey always fancies a nice muscly bloke doesn't she ? I have a girl crush on her, but someone mentioned her flawless make up upthread, it's loaded on top of plenty of botox and fillers like Donny's (anyone notice his neck when he was on the One Show ?)

I've just heard him say on R2 that he was born in I957 fgs!!!! He does seem fun, although maybe he allowed his emotions to get the better of him at times

Well at last proper traditional music and dancing [grin I LOVED last night's show !! I reckon Sunetra and Frankie are ones to watch oh and Pixie too. I liked the controversy about Jake's waltz which was brill. IMO.

Only caught up this morning. Couldn't stop laughing during Scott's performance. Mark Wright's was possibly the weirdest thing I've seen on strictly. And I like Kevin's bum.

So I'm going for the high-brow comments, as you can see.

Judy strikes me as a woman who has never worn sparkly stuff before, but is loving it! And Anton isn't being too condescending.

Someone in costume doesn't like Mark his trousers have been a weird shape right through the series so far (the superman ones were nearly okay ,but a bit strange!).

There must be a dance off between Judy and Scott tonight (it'll be difficult to judge because there's not much to choose between them really).

We couldn't work out if the 'allergic to shellfish' joke was about the dancing or the colour of his face.

Judy won't be in the dance off, Anton is too popular. Which I kind of understand, he's a personable chap.

I'm guessing... Bargain Hunt fella-me-lad, and Jennifer (is it) who did the Mamma Mia dance. I don't think they're the worst dancers, but I don't think they have the following they need for the public vote.
