That was damn good. Nice slow start, built up steadily to quality Homeland unbearable tension. Shame we didn't get to know Sandy better but his source was clearly well dodgy.

And I'm agog at how easy it seems to be to get a nice bottle of white in deepest Kabul.

I missed the last few of hte last series - got soooooo bored with bloody brody I couldn't be bothered to watch any more. This episode seemed OK.

Feels like a rehash of the Isa storyline.

I had a nightmare start - MIL rang for a chat at 9.03. I love her dearly but dear god she can talk - in the end I lied and said we were busy with DS3's homework. DS3 now has blackmail material, as he's pointed out.

After all the anticipation, I don't feel robbed. We needed a change of scene, a change of pace - expectations have been fulfilled. Agree that jogging bearded medics would have given it a nice touch.

How ridiculous is it that carrie would be given station chief? she's the biggest liability in the CIA- consistently! Even doing shit like getting out of the car to walk back to the embassy! Putting her security team at risk for what? A dander?

But can someone explain why Carrie ended up being put in that position of responsibility when she is mentally ill and the CIA had her hospitalised ?

DD spotted brief appearance from Bradley James who used to play Arthur in Merlin. What's he doing in The USA/ Pakistan eh ?

And why do they all wander around Kabul looking like they have CIA stamped on their foreheads. Obvious targets. Get real guys !
