I think the ambassador's husband could have had the bin bags sent back. Farah was told to text Carrie when she was done and she didn't. I just think something must have happened when Farah was in the safe house, otherwise I don't know why packing binbags with a non-scary senator's dh outside would have taken up so much screen time.

Rally he took some of the things from the bag to show ISI lady. Maybe that's why it got so much screen time.......

Carrie does have a handbag, its a cross body one. One think I like about her is the way she wears it. All the best people wear a bag across their body .
How high up are the drones? I keep thinking that you would hear it, but this is because I actually think they make a droning noise, a bit like a wasp

My experience in such countries is that the air conditioning can be set to freezing. But the CIA/Homeland Security headquarters might be different.

I am also curious about these drones. As they deliver bombs, I suppose they use proper unmanned airplanes that will fly very high and will be almost undetected, or look like commercial planes.

I wonder what the drones are like too - can they see them / hear them in the ground?

It can get quite chilly in the winter apparently (around 12 degrees C high and 5 degrees low) and in the summer the aircon can be set to freezing.

I remember seeing one of the original Israeli drones, around 1980, and being amazed that it was so small, only just room for a toddler in fact. Sorry can't remember more details.

And of course, it was probably out-of-date by the time they allowed the public to examine it.

I've been doing a spot of light drone research, as you do, and reckon we're talking the MQ1B Predator Drone. This is the USAF fact sheet. Ceiling of 25,000 feet, which I take it means that if Pi had happened to open his eyes while lying on his rock in the river and facing upward, he still wouldn't have seen it.

In a similar vein, Dar Adal is known as Salieri because that's who the actor played in Amadeus, and it seems we struggle with change :o. We haven't seen enough of Salieri this series, and I still don't really understand who/what he is.
