So, here we are, all ready for the Final. Thread number 9 - we certainly know how to chat!

Without you it wouldn't have been half as much fun!

It has been quite a journey. We've learned things we never wanted to know, seen things we never wanted to see. We will never look at PVC the same way again.

I'm so glad Wessex and dinky showed up or I'd be thinking I was weird being so out of step with everybody else! That's what I love about MN though, that we all have such different opinions and can discuss them

Indeed he was, they were non PC times. I lived them I grew up in a Northern village full of sexist, racist twats, it was the norm, my dad was one of them.

Jim Davison was popular in my house back then. I grew up amongst it but I still grew up to hate intolerance, prejudice and ignorance.

I now have a mixed race dd and she feels as passionate about racism as I do, obviously. I confess I have a deep seated reason to hate Jim and all he stands for.

Actually I can understand that. Surely that has to be one of the worst things to be accused of. Every time someone was linked to Yewtree, the assumption has generally been underage.
