So, here we are, all ready for the Final. Thread number 9 - we certainly know how to chat!

Without you it wouldn't have been half as much fun!

It has been quite a journey. We've learned things we never wanted to know, seen things we never wanted to see. We will never look at PVC the same way again.

Will Dappy pick an accent and stick with it?
Will Casey talk about anything other than Lee & her boobs?

I think with Jim, there comes a point with everyone that you have to accept things are in the past - Cheryl Coles conviction, Jim's domestic violence, dappy's ringing that woman, etc . Otherwise, that's it. Unless you're perfect you may as well not try once you fail.

I hadn't noticed that actually, that 1 half of each pair made the final! Interesting.

I think within a year we will see Jim's downfall again.

I think EVERYONE thinks SUCK MY DICK was seedy!! But it's completely different saying that as part of a task than it is to tell someone you'd want to bath them if they were your daughter!
If Jim had said SUCK MY DICK dresses in PVC while they were doing a task, it would have been bleurgh, but nowhere near the "bath" comment - that was said in a one-to-one conversation!

Lee is the most grim of all the housemates.

I am fully aware of Jim Davidsons past but do we keep persecuting people for past mistakes? His humour was of it time and the ,alleged domestic violence he wrote about himself in his book. He was never convicted of anything but I understand that does not make it acceptable. Everyone makes mistakes. The only nastiness I saw in the house came from Linda. Who knows what secret issues other folk have from their past which they refuse to speak about. At least Jim has been honest. From a CBB perspective he has been one of the most interesting housemates. Also there are many people who dislike Dappy, Luisa, Liz, Evander, Lee, - my point being, lots of people dislike lots of people for lots of reasons.

But Nerf there are occasional indiscretions/mistakes and decades of racist, sexist shit.

Thanks Nerf. I must say, other than a little interlude, the tone of these threads have been great with everyone saying what they think, but no nastiness with it & everyone just rubbing along nicely.

I don't think Jim has been honest, Dinky. He told Ollie he didn't have a problem with gay people, yet he has been kicked off reality shows for homophobia and has a long (decades long) history of telling homophobic jokes.

I don't think the domestic violence can be called alleged when he has admitted it in writing in his own autobiography.

You only saw nastiness from Linda? Did you not see Jim tell Luisa to ask Linda about Frank Carson's dressing room? That was nasty.

Yes, I agree he was interesting to watch, I found it fascinating to watch him try to hide his true feelings and personality.

This has been a great thread (group of threads). It's made me enjoy the show so much more chatting about it with you all. I think you've also influenced some of my opinions of people in there. I don't post much on MN but have loved this. (I'm a bit gutted I didnt fancy anyone on there this time though )

Hate the way Lee is being all superior and acting as though Casey was completely deluded and nuts for thinking he liked her.
