Celebrity Big Brother: Thread 8 - Are there any depravities we haven't witnessed?

Can we take any more? Will we make it to the end? The beginning seems so long ago. Anyone remember anything Lionel said in the house apart from "Suck my dick"?

I thought about cancelling the eye-bleach order after Lee went, but I see we still need it with Dappy in the house. Send for the tankers!

I honestly still adore ollie and i thought he would be better than he has been so i don't think he will win

Foxsticks · 28/01/2014 17:45

I just can't bare it when he puts on what he must think is his considered intelligent voice when nominating. It makes my teeth itch! I also still haven't got over the teeth clacking. He is a lot better than he was though I guess.

mrsjay · 28/01/2014 17:46

he hasnt clacked for days though I quite like him more relaxed he was squirmy and cringey to start with,

Only1scoop · 28/01/2014 17:47

Do love Olly, although whenever he speaks it sounds like he reads from a script.

LetZygonsbeZygons · 28/01/2014 17:47

luisa would be evn more full of herself than she already is if she won! either Jim Ollie or Dappy for me.

even so, Daps, put it away!

Only1scoop · 28/01/2014 17:47

Yes Dappy case it Grin

noddyholder · 28/01/2014 17:50

Jim is playing the biggest game adapting as the evictions happen to what he thinks the public like/are thinking. I think though he has got too confident and some of the pervy things he has been saying to casey which are reminiscent of his old act could back fire now and cost him the winners place. I think Dappy will win easily now.

limitedperiodonly · 28/01/2014 18:00

I'm literal and Jim's not clever. I can live with that but I don't think either is true.

I like Jim the most of them. I'm willing to accept people saying that it's all an act but on the face of it I find him likeable.

He is probably trying to cheer Casey up in the best way that he knows how rather than perving. And if she takes comfort from that, and so does her mother, then that's good, because that's them and I think that he's being genuine. But the bathing comment is out there and if I was Mrs Casey I'd wince.

Luisa has grown on me. I think if she was 10 years older I might like her even more. I like her sense of fun and also her undoubted bitchiness and that wind-her-up-and-let-her-go quality. She is, as Emma said, naughty.

But I prefer that to everyone assuming that because Linda is middle-aged she's some great Mama type. That doesn't happen when you pass 45. Or 85.

She's not nice, probably through no fault of her own but I wouldn't want her to be my mum.

Foxsticks · 28/01/2014 18:01

I really need to get over the clacking don't I Grin

noddyholder · 28/01/2014 18:03

If you were my daughter I would never have stopped bathing you? Not pervy really He is disgusting

Nerfmother · 28/01/2014 18:06

Limited, although we appear to have disagreed I actually think I agree with you on Jim!

mrsjay · 28/01/2014 18:08

I dont think he is perving on casey fwiw he is just joking although the bath one was URGH but he is just being silly with casey he has a young dd himself he would hate anybody to perv on her,

Nerfmother · 28/01/2014 18:17

YY mrs jay

Piscivorus · 28/01/2014 18:20

I think Luisa and Jim are getting along well now though mrsjay. I'm not sure that he ever had a huge problem with her but she now admits that she was picking up on things that he said to argue against and the implication is that it was Linda's influence on the younger women.

TortillasAndChocolate · 28/01/2014 18:24

It does leave a bad taste in my mouth this series. It's so contrived. I've said all along that I think they put too many twists and turns in these days because they are desperate to make it different and exciting. I wish they wouldn't - for me it would work on its own without that. I know others disagree though. I just enjoy the social experiment, watching how people interact and how the dynamics change as people enter and leave.

Obviously there is always going to be distortion with the editing. They have to get 45 minutes from 24 hours. Someone has to decide what to include. Even if they try not to control the public perception, they can't include everything so we can never get the full picture. However, they should at least try to add some balance. Sadly they don't care about the social experiment and presenting the facts. They care about developing stories and increasing viewing figures, whatever the cost to the reputations of the contestants.

But in the end, it's just tv show, and most people will have forgotten it soon (except us, because we are addicted loonies)

Piscivorus · 28/01/2014 18:24

Limited Perfect post.
I too find Jim the most likeable

Lots of posts on the Daily Fail site, their article says JDs joke was tasteless and pervy, their posters are all saying "It's a joke", "Get a life", "PC gone mad", etc. Apparently it is an old Bernard Manning joke that has been much recycled.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 28/01/2014 18:33

I don't really care who wins now. I think I would least like Ollie or Sam to win as they have not contributed anything to the series. If they weren't there you wouldn't miss them.

oh well that makes it alright then Hmm

LetZygonsbeZygons · 28/01/2014 19:03

I remember Vinnie Jones got over confident and dug his own grave, hope Jim remembers to stay calm for the final.

LetZygonsbeZygons · 28/01/2014 19:03

I used to like Jim on the generation game and that snooker programme he did.

LiberalLibertine · 28/01/2014 19:07

I've just looked up dappys knob without the rectangle Grin

LiberalLibertine · 28/01/2014 19:08

If like Jim to dig his own grave, get in it, and cover himself over.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 28/01/2014 19:09

There would be dancing atop it, Liberal!
