In one clip I saw though Jim asked Luisa what did he do that made him sexist so he could stop doing it. Maybe he is genuinely trying to become more aware and change, who knows? I would like to hope so.

Like Nerf I think his jokes that we see as tasteless would be seen by some (dare I say Sun reader types) as daringly funny. is one of Blackpools finest who has a regular summer season at North Pier and, by coincidence, look at the joke about 50 seconds in which is the one Jim made about bathing but the crowd here find it hilarious even when followed by "Fancy a shag?"

I think this is my last year of CBB though. Thinking about it, it's actually nasty and not just mean. Casey having to out up with jasmine in silence, family coming in but not allowed to interact. The letters was nice, but that's just screwed.
The whole nastiness - eating fish guts, linda self harming, the lack of care for people.

That Joey Blower/Jim Davidson joke is weird, given that Jim was at great pains to mention that not only were the allegations against him untrue, they didn't relate to child abuse.

I wonder who pinched whose material?

Blower even looks like Davidson with the addition of 4 stone and minus a mauve cashmere sweater.

I am really concerned about the editing this time. Linda and Lee have both been amazed when they came out at the public perception relative to their view. We heard from Liz about Sam showering with the door open and she has a killer body so to not show that, to me, shows an agenda in how to present her. I have just watched an interview with Jim (obviously predates CBB) in which he claims that production companies will edit hours of him being nice into his 30 seconds of the type of jokes he was famous for and I wonder if this is happening too.

Yes I think definitely that's happening . I also don't think his joke was anything more than old style comedian making a lechy joke having judged that a) Casey wouldn't be offended and b) assuming Casey likes to be thought of as a bit sexy. I suspect Jim categorises women.

I'd be really interested to know what Davidson thinks of Jimmy Carr and his rape jokes. And Frankie Boyle and his child abuse jokes.

I have to say I've found Carr and Boyle funny and thought-provoking sometimes. But it depends. I've also sat through their routines stony-faced.

There's one of Carr's which is on YouTube which is him daring the audience to object to his jokes which start out bad and get progressively worse. It isn't funny and I have laughed at sick jokes.

I really don't know what point he was trying to make, if any.

The argument sometimes put up for Boyle is that he loathes himself and loathes his audience. Maybe it's the same for Carr.

I used to think that when people were analysing whether Ali G was meant to be an Asian boy pretending to be black, or a white boy pretending to be an Asian pretending to be black, that they were over-analysing and that Sacha Baron-Cohen just found it funny and ran with it.

But after a few too many views of Ali G and Borat I began to think that Baron-Cohen, like lots of comedians, was a bullying arsehole who played on the embarrassment of his victims and had control of the live audience or the edit.

Incest? What? I really don't get that from his joke.

I don't know about Linda but I don't think Lee has been badly edited.

We have been treated to his endless whining and lies. I don't even think he thinks he's telling lies, but the reaction of people in house who were with him all the time was unanimously that he needed to stop.

I didn't hear Jim's comment, because it was cut from today's lunchtime catch up. But I gather from here and also from the Joey Blower clip that the sum of it was: 'If you were my daughter, I'd have continued bathing you. Hurr Hurr. Pause for applause.'

That seems a fairly clear reference to incest to me, even if not to Blower or Davidson.

I don't think for a moment that saying that line made them guilty of anything than trying to get a cheap laugh.

But I find it a bit off-colour. The link with incest was made in my mind, even if it wasn't in theirs, although I can't imagine why not. I've never heard of Blower before today but Davidson has never struck me as a simpleton.

As I've said, I have laughed at off-colour jokes. I admit I laughed at a joke: 'What's so good about fucking 27 year olds? Because there are 20 of them.'

Why? Shock, probably. And an amusement at the play on words.

But if you say 'edgy' things, you can't go complaining when some people interpret them in ways you hadn't thought of.

Yes but that's rather a literal interpretation rather than anything clever by Jim. Personally (and I don't like seaside end of pier humour) I think Jim has been more respectful to Casey than lee has. He is treating her like a sexy figure, probably to cheer her up, probably because he fancies her a bit, and probably because that's how he relate to glamour models.

Lee has treated Casey appallingly.... Jim's dreadful 70's Saucy seaside humour doesn't help his case. I do feel however I have seen him come with advice from a good place the last couple of days....and that shocks me.
The comment re the bath was purely vile however....

the reason JIm is so warm towards casey is because of her job that is why he couldnt get on with luisa I think i have probably said this before but Linda lusarda is his friends, certain type of women appeal more to men like jim than others, because their jobs are to please men

Hi all, I haven't been on here for a while but had to pop on to express my joy at Lee finally going. CBBOTS was interesting, he really had been told what to say hadn't he? Shame he wasn't bright enough to keep up with the party line though. Such a tool.

It won't be popular on here but I think I'd like Luisa to win. She's been entertaining and a far nicer person since Jasmin left. Jim is a fraud, Ollie and Sam don't deserve to win as they haven't done anything. Dappy annoys me with his gangsta talk, stupid nomination reasons and playing up to the camera, and Casey has been too much of a mug. So it's got to be Luisa I think.

I wouldn't bother if Luisa won TBH she has been a pain but very entertaining and yes calmed down since jasmine left although I like dappy and would like him to win, I know he is probably a knob in RL but i like him
