OP posts:
ScrambledSmegs · 26/01/2014 21:09

Oh, alright. Tomorrow. Since Sinitta's going to cry and everything.

Grin
Sparklingbrook · 26/01/2014 21:10

hurrah! see you tomorrow.

invicta · 26/01/2014 22:08

The reason for, watching Jump - Graeme Bell who I've always had a soft spot for... . Why is Sir Steve on it, unless he wanted the opportunity to compete again, and they did say he liked skiing. I've never heard of the fashion person, or Ritchie before, but liked Ritchie at the end. I found Davina annoying. I felt was one of those programmes that didn't really need to be an hour long. The preamble about each contestant prior to each run seemed to go on for ages. If they do that every night, it's going to,get very boring.

SweetPeaPods · 26/01/2014 22:10

Invicta because I've recorded it I can fast forward they interviews then Wink

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 26/01/2014 22:19

It was a bit slow and jumpy I thought. All the back and to between the pre-recorded bits and Davina.

I'll probably keep watching though, I want to see the screams tomorrow (Grin) and the speed skating.

specialsubject · 26/01/2014 22:24

to my surprise I quite enjoyed that - not too padded and no silly false emotion. Expect I will be watching alternate nights... Recording it might be an idea to cut out Davina.

have to say that all of them have giant cojones to do that ski jump, even though it is a small one.

curlyclaz13 · 26/01/2014 22:29

It was shit, I will be watching it all. Grin

ScrambledSmegs · 27/01/2014 09:40

I want to see footage of the relationships between the contestants. Like, does anyone actually like Anthea unlikely? And apparently Amy Childs and Henry Conway have bonded and are BFFs, which sounds both bizarre and hilarious.

The jump itself is totally anticlimactic. They should bin that and instead send Sinitta down on a skeleton bob for the rest of the week, over and over again.

clam · 27/01/2014 09:50

I watched it all on fast forward with my hands over my eyes.

For so many reasons.

What time's it on tonight? Blush

SweetPeaPods · 27/01/2014 11:44

Well I've watched it and I'm not sure. I was hoping it would be unmissable but it's not really is it?
Recording is def the way to go, skip ad breaks, skip rubbish sob stories, skip Davian, watch them ski, watch them jump, done!

checkmates · 27/01/2014 12:23

Big names dont go on such things for nowt. It might be 50 grand on The JUMP And strictly etc

lovetoski · 27/01/2014 15:21

The best bit was Darren's crash landing! Be honest all we want to see is celebrities (?) suffering, crying and crashing out. They all skied too well for me.

ScrambledSmegs · 27/01/2014 15:53

I don't want to see anyone getting hurt or seriously injured.

However I'm all for 'celebrities' falling over/crying/making utter tits of themselves. Top TV.

Farahilda · 27/01/2014 18:20

Sir Steve (and probably many of the others) are doing it because it's a great way to do lots of (expensive) winter sports stuff for free and without queuing for lifts.

Is it unkind to mention the width of Marcus Brigstocke's behind?

Sparklingbrook · 27/01/2014 20:02

Evening.

bisjo · 27/01/2014 20:04

Evening. Fab tv tonight. I've just been watching another reality tv show on Channel 5 that makes The Jump seem like a feature on Newsnight.

Has anyone seen 'Go Hard or Go Home' on Channel 5 at 7pm. Really really really rubbish.

bisjo · 27/01/2014 20:06

I think Sinitta calling herself a popstar is a bit of a jump Grin

Sparklingbrook · 27/01/2014 20:07

Pop star? Sinitta? Confused

Hi bisjo didn't see that have I missed a treat?

Sparklingbrook · 27/01/2014 20:09

British American singer? Confused

Sparklingbrook · 27/01/2014 20:10

Blimey she did it. Quite why is the question?

Sparklingbrook · 27/01/2014 20:11

AT must have done this for Blue Peter surely? I do love her even though it's not the done thing.

bisjo · 27/01/2014 20:11

Sparkling they had Essex pub landlords doing an 86 mile canoe race when all they had managed in training was about 8 miles. One of them got banned from travelling to the race in Texas as he'd been taking steriods during training. Really funny to watch if you like really really shit tv.

bisjo · 27/01/2014 20:12

Why are the boys wearing their jump suits when they won't be jumping this evening?

Sparklingbrook · 27/01/2014 20:13

Sounds great bisjo. Grin i think Coach trip is coming back soon-now that really is shit TV.

bisjo · 27/01/2014 20:13

I'd love to have a go at that.
