Well I really enjoyed the whole thing, though we always record so we can run on the ads and the chat.
Glad it wasn't a popularity competition but personally think it would have benefitted from there not being any eliminations and everyone doing every event until the end like Superstars. At least that way we would have only the injured leaving and everyone having a chance to have a go at everything.
Well done to Joe and thought Ritchie was totally brilliant.

According to this Radio Times article Joe was on a skiing holiday in Austria when he got the call to replace Henry Conway. The others had 2 months training.

Meant to say, it has warmed me up for the Winter Olympics! Can't wait until they start on Friday, now.

Just watched. I don't know why Ritchie wasn't reinstated when Steve was injured out of the show? It made the rest of the show very strange, there was no point to the last event before the jump as no one was eliminated.

I would love there to be another series, but I expect that insurance issues would forbid it.

Maybe there wasn't anyone left uninjured! Maybe they would factor that in for the next series, ie do a count back and reinstate whomever was eliminated closest to the final, in this case it would have been Ritchie.

I don't understand why they couldn't put someone back in.

Bit of an anti-climax. I notice they reduced the programme length as presumably there was supposed to be a 3rd place jump off and another race.

2.6m launch night, 2.3m second night. No info for the remainder.

Joe's a worthy winner but total respect to all/most of them

They've all been really game. The only one that wasn't was Amy who came across as pretty unpleasant.

Joe's nice. I've never heard of him before this.

He also had the least time to pick up injuries

Joe's going to win and he's had the least training out of all of them.

Eddie's lovely, isn't he? He came across as a lovely bloke in Splash too.

Joe has been a revelation, especially as he'd not done much, if any, skiing prior to this show. Marcus showed tremendous bottle doing that with an injured knee, I know how much a knee injury hurts, suffering one myself.

Gabby would be the AT equivalent as I imagine she's fiercely competitive.
