The Great Interior Design Challenge anyone?

Anyone else watching? I saw Monday's but didn't realise it was on every night. I'm hoping to catch up on yesterday's and this evening's episode tonight.

Oh I forgot tonight. I watched it yesterday, I quite like the trees on one wall, but I didn't really like the painted furniture. I will watch on I player.

Did anyone watch tonight's? I thought the winner's room was beautiful, and did anyone else notice that they didn't show the table that Amy was 'upcycling'(horrible word). And what wa it with the ottoman with bits of fabric stuck on top? I did admire her confidence though!

Well I just managed to watch ep 2, i-player kept crashing so it took some dedication! I think I will have to watch tonight's another time Sad. I thought it was a shame Kelvin / Calvin didn't like his room as I thought she did a lovely job.

I'm hooked already - I haven't seen a decent makeover show for a while. All these rooms seem quite achievable and easy to live with so far. Not a LLB style tart's boudoir! ( Showing my age).

There's someone selling an Art Deco house here !!

It seems a shame that they haven't allowed the designers to meet the client or go on site to take measurements and photos themselves - seems as though they are not playing fair ! Working this way around would never happen in real life - no one would expect a design and moodboard withouth chatting to the clients about what they like and don't like !

And as such, they are allowing / promoting a fail and a knock of confidence to two of the three 'would be designers' each programme ! That's not good or nice ! Also - what's with the DIY approach ?! Part of a designers skill is arranging the right professional to come in and complete the work to the best finish ! Not get one poor handy chap and the designer to do the lot ! Not impressed BBC !! Do your homework next time !!

I didn't realise this was on every evening. I saw the one in Salford and tonight's looks a lot more difficult with the kitchens. I have a certain fondness for the 70's flat.

I thought it was a bit mean that they had the same time and budget to do a kitchen as the other rooms, but they did good jobs nevertheless.

I-player is your friend Cocolepew! I have just caught up with the Art Deco houses and have seen all the eps so far now.

I am now very miffed that I don't have my own Art Deco sun room on the roof.

I must admit I quite like grey. I'm not so keen on the Tour de France room, but I don't like themed rooms in general.

I thought it was a bit much on the bike theme and not very homely. The bloke who lived there was happy though.

The lamp in the byke room was truly awful. Why on earth did he win. Didn't like the caretaker's room either - all you noticed was the red cupboard and they totally covered the beautiful parquet.
