What benefits is she on about ???

SavoyCabbage · 28/01/2014 09:58

My dd asked at the start why the daddy had to sit outside in the garage and wasn't allowed to have his things in the house.

Martha75 · 28/01/2014 09:58

He looked nervous when he voted uk

Wynn family update

As of December 2013, the Wynns are living in Wales, but Debbie’s dream of a life down under is still very much alive. The family have applied for visas, and are currently waiting to see if their application has been successful. Having seen opportunities in the employment market in Australia, Jacob is now studying to become a chef.

susiedaisy · 28/01/2014 09:59

Silly lady

CosyTeaBags · 28/01/2014 09:59

I liked it when she said "Oh, £2k a year worse off... but that's less than the cost of a holiday, and we won't need holidays living here"

Right, so you're going to go from working part-time to full-time, but you won't need a holiday ever because it will be hot... Hmm

So THATs what holidays are for, going somewhere hot. Nothing to do with , you know, having a break from daily life and work then?

17leftfeet · 28/01/2014 10:00

On what grounds would they get visas?

I think the son will end up going by himself at some point

SavoyCabbage · 28/01/2014 10:01

Also, it will cost them three times that to fly home to see their family.

She is a loon.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 28/01/2014 10:01

He's applying to now be a chef!. Oh for goodness sake. Seems a waste after all that effort he's previously put into his current job. More long hours and hard graft will ensue.

BiscuitsandBaileys · 28/01/2014 10:01

….to get away from his annoying mother!

susiedaisy · 28/01/2014 10:02

Don't these people realise that working full time. No pool. Overbearing heat. Less money. Less free time. No family support. Equals just as much hassle and stress as anywhere else !

BiscuitsandBaileys · 28/01/2014 10:02

That was in reply to 17leftfeet, slow typer Smile

susiedaisy · 28/01/2014 10:03

Good point savoy, flying home will cost a small fortune

SavoyCabbage · 28/01/2014 10:04

I bet she didn't factor in the $96 childcare for when she works full time.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 28/01/2014 10:05

Ah, I got mixed up with the names so Jacob is applying to be a chef.
Not much of him was mentioned but in a year's time can he still be put on the family's visa application? Probably not.

I cannot realistically see either of them getting a job in the current climate; they were already told that theirs is a buyers market.

NicknameIncomplete · 28/01/2014 19:07

That woman on todays show was deluded.

I can see the boy going by himself but i cant see the rest of the family moving.

susiedaisy · 29/01/2014 09:16

Anyone watching today

Davros · 29/01/2014 09:23

Yes but only until I go out in 15 mins. I like Emma so far, lovely colouring and very natural looking. Oh and obviously seems a nice woman and hard worker

Sparklingbrook · 29/01/2014 09:24

Cute baby.

susiedaisy · 29/01/2014 09:24

Level headed couple. Just a shame one wants it and one doesn't
