I hope the title isn't a spoilerWink

It's the most exciting thing happening this week. Apart from the 'Breaking Bad' finale. Grin

Honest.

I can't believe it is Bootcamp already and we have only seen about 6 actsHmm. Are they saving the best for later? unlikely.

I'm disappointed in the distinct lack of Adele tribute acts, and not nearly enough Emile Sande.

I'm sure this will be rectified very soonGrin

Off to buy Wine

I cant remember his name, but the black guy in the "overs" section, who came straight off the night shift last week...why did Sharon send him home??I loved him last week. Ok wasnt mad about his song choice tonight but still - how could she send him home and keep the Jon bon Jovi wannabe in? Am gutted.

SuePurblybilt · 29/09/2013 09:32

Right, someone catch me up before tonight. Did they divvy up the categories already? What's the craic with the one-in/one-out chairs thing? Are they really planning on drowning the losers?

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 29/09/2013 09:35

sue the best way of catching up is to sit in a dark cupboard, banging your head on the door while a few cats screech and a toddler makes up random rules.

Never mind drowning the losers, I want to drown myself.

LittleMachine · 29/09/2013 09:47

I just came on here to see if anyone had mentioned the disappearance of Amy Mottram. How strange!

SuePurblybilt · 29/09/2013 09:51

Grin That's so funny, Youreall, that's exactly what I had planned for Sunday anyway.
Is Amy Mottram the Badger? Cos I have an inkling what could have happened if so...

fancyanother · 29/09/2013 10:17

The 1.5 hours for 1.5 categories just shows the importance of the young girl category against the oldies. If they are squeezing 2.5 categories into 1.5 hours they have had a completely disproportionate amount of airtime

Crutchlow35 · 29/09/2013 10:21

They didn't show it but apparently amy (well obviously we know now) got a no and didn't get a seat.

ArbitraryUsername · 29/09/2013 10:23

YoureAllABunchOfBastards has summarised the experience very accurately, Sue. Be glad you weren't watching it.

The people making the show might think it's all about the young girls (hence the ludicrous amount of air time) but I care equally little about all the categories. I'm sure most of the population are with me.

Clawdy · 29/09/2013 14:14

Another one here who can't believe Sharon O sent home the lovely black guy with the bun. It was all a bit decisive and quick...is there going to be a twist? hope so...

Gregssausageroll · 29/09/2013 15:16

The only twis with the girls as far as I know.

SuePurblybilt · 29/09/2013 16:22

Him with the hair? I LOVED him. The comedy potential he promised, lost....

lottieandmia · 29/09/2013 17:41

This thing they are doing of letting someone through and then kicking them off the chair is really horrible and very unfair and I don't think it's at all entertaining to watch people who have put everything into their performance being humiliated that way.

Plus Abi should never have been given Lydia's place imo and Lydia looked really really upset. It's disrespectful to treat the contestants like that.

Evening all!

I need some serious cheering up. I have spent a fecking fortune on the phone to the Falklands blubbing to DH today! I shouted at the kids so loud I woke the hamster up! Sad

NoelHeadbands · 29/09/2013 19:30

Aw littlemiss

Come sit down and be cheered up by this ridiculous reality tv show

Raahh · 29/09/2013 19:31

Right-finally sat down. Have been out all day doing stuff for dd2's birthday- so it's been a rush to get all the school stuff done when we got back.

7.30 is too early 8.20 is too late

Grin

I think they are trying the seats thing as a gimmick, (not a very good one)but it is really not very different to getting them to spend 2 days practicing 'Bridge over Troubled' water with a bunch of strangers- before being herded into the 'no' room and sent home. and a trap door would have been funnier .

We have hardly seen any of the preparation- we don't know how long they had to get ready. It's all a bit of a mess. And they have edited it in such a way that we've got the same thing as they did on the Voice- spend half an hour agonising over putting them through- then the next week ditch them with hardly a backward glance.

I don't like knowing the mentors in advance- makes no sense.

There is either going to be a MASSIVE twist, or this really is the most badly thought out series yetGrin

I need Wine

Raahh · 29/09/2013 19:33

I'm not sure I like this one. It's all a bit late night cabaret.

OP posts:
littlemisswise · 29/09/2013 19:33

I was thinking the same Noël. She scares me!

Raahh · 29/09/2013 19:34

Evening. Here to watch 10 minutes to finish off the elderly (in xfactor land 25 is elderly and I my age is measured in geological time) and move on to the other categories.

ArbitraryUsername · 29/09/2013 19:34

I agree on late night cabaret.
