Just seen a trailer for The Walking Dead S4!! I actually squeed out loud. I never squee IRL. DP give me this look Hmm

So, Daryl fans, he'll be back on our screens in all his badass glory on 18th October on Fox.

those of us who can't wait will no doubt have already hypothetically worked out where we can hypothetically view it online after it has aired in the US Grin

I'm such a sucker. Jumped out of my skin when the Gov smacked his old mate with the golf club. I really honestly stupidly kind of thought he had turned over a new leaf Sad

Incidentally, this was me when we met the nice new bloke >>> Grin because he was played by Enver Gjokaj, who was completely amazing in "Dollhouse". And then this was me >>> Shock Sad Shock Angry when he ended up as a zombie at the bottom of a lake. Tch. Kind of surprised his brother was so OK with the Gov killing him Confused

am I the only one who think that chad Coleman who plays tyreese is a crap actor! He seems very wooden to me I just can't warm to him at all!

Also I don t think Carole and Daryl can be actually involved with one another other than forming a close friendship. Otherwise there's no way Rick would of banished her from the group. You can't just banish someone's wife or partner without the other persons say so?!

Yes Susie, I thought that about Carol / Daryl. And he hasn't been in a rush to tell him what happened. Like you say, if they were an established couple that would've been the first thing he would do.

I still think he is going to go and look for her. But judging by the trailer for next week he is still at the prison for now.

I'm still confused about the whole other camp in the woods though. I mean, how could the govenor lose the others, back track, take out the whole camp in silence with no one fighting back, filch all the supplies and hide them and then make his way back to the others with no one noticing Confused

Or did it happen on a different day? But even so, he was still massively outnumbered and didn't appear injured in any way. Is he also some sort of stealth ninja???

I think the governor will be seen again as a zombie, we heard the shot but we didn't see what happened...... he must be dead though right, he was stabbed through the chest?

I think the baby will be okay somehow, could she be on the bus?

Annoyed with whoever is dRiving the bus. Surely the basic tenet of the whole bus escape plan is that you GET THE BLOODY CHILDREN ON THE BUS???!!!

I have a theory that the little madam killed Karen and other bloke and Carol moved bodies and covered it up for her. I do hope I'm right as I really need her to come back!!!!!

BitchyFestivalFace - thank-you!! I knew I had seen the zombie-in-the-lake actor in something, but couldn't think what.

That last episode was excellent - though I was stunned that they decided to let zombies get the baby! And it was pretty clear to me that all the Governor wanted to do was to destroy the prison and Rick's people - he had no intention of using the prison himself - but I am surprised that no-one else from the other camp questioned the logic of driving a tank through the first and second lines of defence at the prison, and then blowing dirty great holes in the rest of it - hardly the best tactic for capturing a new, safer home?!!

Well well!
Yes I'm hoping someone (alive but covered in gore) grabbed the baby :(
I expect the new army thought that the other side would surrender.
I do think Rick could have made more of the sick people and the children - I think Gov's people would have turned on him given half a chance. (who was guy in tank btw, looks very familiar as an actor)
Another death due to letting your children play unsupervised. I swear if I'm ever in a zombie apocalypse my DC (currently 6 and 4) will be on permanent reins, and I don';t care what the MN judgeypants lot think :o

Stealth, I am just watching now, about half way through and was about to say the exact same thing about keeping your kids close.

What is it with these post apocalyptic mothers? My 2 are 7 and 3. I would fashion a device that kept them permanently attached to me or within a 5 feet radius at all times

I think Judith is dead, that scene with the car seat made me feel a bit ill. The end of this episode was similar to the comic (I'm not a snobby comic comparer!) except Judith died when the gov shot her.

Why did rick leap onto the governor from behind that truck?! He had a gun, surely he could have shot him and been done with it Grin

Sorry I am technically stupid and cant do links but read the USA Walking Dead thread on here, if you go to the last page you will see the link posted there. The shot is in the background of another scene and T IS carrying something as he escapes the prison, if you zoom in it looks like a baby. The girls must have gone back for Judith when they found T before they escaped the prison.

That makes sense because the girls were carrying her so presumably knew where they left her and went back with T to get her.

Yes, I did wonder why they had the car seat at all tbh. In between not getting eaten and not getting shot by other tribes, car safety mustn't be high priority :o
the bit with Herschel was a bit too close to the bone tbh but I suppose this is American.
