Starting a new thread as I used up the last two messages on the last one. Also this is my first thread I've ever started! A great subject to start with.

Aw,am I the only one who found myself wanting Leanne to take Nick back....

Why on earth did they think it was a good idea for nick to take simon. He's been snapping at people, losing his temper a lot because of his brain injury. He clearly isn't fit enough to look after children yet.

Well Leanne hardly holds the moral high ground does she. Thought it was a bit docking of her to be telling him she didn't know if he could be with him - considering he's forgiven her the exact same 'mistake'.

Nick is almost angelic compared to some of the things Leanne has done in the past .I can't believe how superior she is now, wasn't she once a prostitute ?
I also want them to get back together for Simon's sake.

I think that Leanne would forgive the sleeping with Kylie. It's the lying about it for months, the fact that he could've fathered the baby, the fact that loads of people knew and she was kept in the dark, that is harder to swallow which i understand TBH.

This might be a stupid question (don't have kids) but why did Si need someone to bring him to the party? Like he's about 10 and there was a few other adults there - couldn't Leanne or someone have just dropped him off and collected him? Or do parents normally stay at the parties too?

They always stay at parties in Corrie, in real life most parents dump and run from about age 5.

Thanks whoknows I did get the impression from on here that parents didn't stay.

Yep dump and run in real life, my line was always "ah no I would be in the way", or "this has worked out really well actually, I have an appointment and it will be great to by myself", of course once you bring a cake and some other crap they can't object to you leaving

Ye Kylie was there, not sure about Gail, there were enough adults, no need for Nick to be there, that Grace is a right little wagon.

Why is Tim giving Sally a hard time about leaving Faye for 1/2 an hour when he left her for days on end a couple of months back?

did todd go to the stage when he left corrie? his soap acting is atrocious! you can tell he's been on stage.

and why the hell did Eileen let him stay? he's really not a likeable character. he couldn't even smile when she said he could stay. still looked like a bulldog chewing a wasp.
