This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

Right, now the stalker storyline is out of the way, I think it's time to channel our inner Howard and whip this programme into shape:

  1. Every opportunity must be taken to get TBFE in his fishing or army gear and get him all ruffly haired.
  1. Heston must stop messing about with restaurant reviews (and that reptilian Emma) and realise his love for Mrs T.
  1. Mrs T should wear her flirty wig (see note 2).
  1. Zara will continue to master acting purely by moving her eyebrows and saying "really?".
  1. The Gobbys will appear in as many episodes as possible to add comedy value.

So line up troops and let's march into the world of WTF!

Everyone is welcome, newbies, regulars and even cast members (arf).

I tried to watch today's. I got annoyed.

I'm not enjoying this week's storyline, but I kind of expected that.Sad

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/09/2013 08:04

I'm guessing no one looked at my link as there are no Shock faces.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/09/2013 08:05

This may be a better link to the picture

curlyclaz13 · 19/09/2013 08:09

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/09/2013 08:54

GrinGrin

I no longer want a pet rabbitGrin

Raahh · 19/09/2013 09:07

MsN- I have terrible recurring dreams about trying to get to places and getting lost, and just never getting anywhere. Just more lost. They are weird. Possible a metaphor for my life Grin

I've half a mind to give up on Doctors this weekShock.

I miss the Jizz stalker storyline. Sad At least it had CrackerAl and a goldfishGrin

MsNobodyAgain · 19/09/2013 09:09

Anne Shock. I didn't spot that one when I glanced at your link last night. Grin

I've had to walk 50m behind DD to school. She wants to walk on her own from next week so this is training mode. I gave her a quiz over breakfast, e.g. "what would you do if a strange man came running up to you and said I'd been in an accident so get in his car?"

"And what would you do if it was a WOMAN?"

DDs head was ready to explode.

Can't help but worry a little. She is only just 10. Won't be sorry to see the end of the school run though. Hurrah!

I did not post that twice Blush. MN has gremlins and nits and worms

GrinMsN

We live just that bit too far away to walk (if we want to get there before home time, anyway), but I know ds would be fine going on his bike. But, since I have to take dd1 anyway (and possibly Sad from January ,dd2), it makes no sense not to take him.

He's already having long discussions regarding how he will get to secondary school. I'm more worried about getting him into a half decent one, never mind how he travels there! We live less than half a mile across an LEA border, that puts us in Manchester-and all preferred schools in Stockport. It's going to be a stressful 6 months. Dh is a school governor- and has sat on appeals panels. He isn't worried. But nothing worries him and he's usually right, grr . I worry about EVERYTHING.

Sorry about the ramble- on top of trips to China, and nursery admissions for a child who refuses to be potty trained, it's all getting to me at the moment. Can you tell?Grin

And I keep having Rabbit/boob flashbacksGrin

MsNobodyAgain · 19/09/2013 13:17

Don't get me started on schools Raahh. I have enough rage to fill the whole of MN about choosing a school at the moment.

Just caught up on the last two days episodes. Well, grim or what? Bring back WTF for heavens sake. And, if I were Zaniel, I would have taken my child straight to the hospital about the bruising. They are meant to be GPs for goodness sake.

And of course I have extra rage about that due to DS2 having had leukaemia. (I'm not saying Joe has, just the bruising brings it back to my mind and the wondering what was wrong).

Todays looks grimmer than and grim thing in Grimshire. I shall watch but probably keep comments to myself. I like Doctors better when I can poke fun at it, and perv over Kevin.

It's only a soap but it can't half get under your skin at times.

Need a Brew and Cake after that. And where's my post? Coooo-eeeeee, Mr Postman, where are yooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuu? Grin

Sorry to hear that about your son, MsN! I hope he's alright? This storyline is very grim indeed. I'm watching live today, from under three blankets on my sofa and with workmen making buzzy noises outside. Can I cancel today, please?

HoggyTruffle · 19/09/2013 13:43

Checking in for a happy episode of doctors (please).

I had a home visit today from a man who fiddled with my plumbing - the toilet had broken and he was a plumber. Grin Life isn't fun when your only toilet won't flush, not that the DC noticed of course.

Like your hol snaps Ann. I may be tempted to get the nork face paint out later.

MsNobodyAgain · 19/09/2013 13:47

He's fine now thanks leezl. Just has checkups to make sure he's not relapsed but tbh I would know if he had.

I am going to watch later. Can't do 3 in a row today.

Sad
leezl · 19/09/2013 13:49

Oh lord, what a way to begin..

IAmNotLouise · 19/09/2013 13:49

This is a bit grim. Might be switching off soon.

leezl · 19/09/2013 13:56

I'm glad to hear he's better now MsN!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/09/2013 14:00

Another grim day in Letherbridge.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/09/2013 14:03

TBFE looks good in that boxing helmet. Hides his Munsters hair do.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/09/2013 14:10

Why (as doctors) hasn't Leukaemia crossed their minds?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/09/2013 14:14

Well after another grim day in Doctors there is light at the end of the tunnel - Barry is in tomorrow's episode!! Yay!! Smile

HoggyTruffle · 19/09/2013 14:16

I'm behind now, had a phone call. Thanks for the heads up on Barry's appearance, I may last to the end now.

Raahh · 19/09/2013 20:21

Thought I'd try to watch- and another grim baby storySad

I'm not sure I can watch to the end.

Raahh · 19/09/2013 20:24

Drugs? Hallucinations.? I don't like this.
