This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

Right, now the stalker storyline is out of the way, I think it's time to channel our inner Howard and whip this programme into shape:

  1. Every opportunity must be taken to get TBFE in his fishing or army gear and get him all ruffly haired.
  1. Heston must stop messing about with restaurant reviews (and that reptilian Emma) and realise his love for Mrs T.
  1. Mrs T should wear her flirty wig (see note 2).
  1. Zara will continue to master acting purely by moving her eyebrows and saying "really?".
  1. The Gobbys will appear in as many episodes as possible to add comedy value.

So line up troops and let's march into the world of WTF!

Everyone is welcome, newbies, regulars and even cast members (arf).

Boyfriend? They aren't married?

Oh ffs!

Raahh · 17/09/2013 14:08

Watch what you're saying Gobby...

AnneEyhtMeyer · 17/09/2013 14:08

High-pitched "no" from Karen!

cinnamongreyhound · 17/09/2013 14:08

The guy with cancer and the woman aren't married but the other guy is married to someone else.

Raahh · 17/09/2013 14:10

I don't like Fleur

Raahh · 17/09/2013 14:11

oh dear

Raahh · 17/09/2013 14:11

Is she allowed to discuss his patient? Patient confidentiality?

Raahh · 17/09/2013 14:12

Oh, she answered my question.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 17/09/2013 14:12

Social worker is a cow.

Raahh · 17/09/2013 14:12

Run her over, Zara!

Raahh · 17/09/2013 14:13

I'm Team Zara todayGrin

cinnamongreyhound · 17/09/2013 14:13

It's getting worse :(

AnneEyhtMeyer · 17/09/2013 14:13

Me too, Raahh.

Mind you, I think I always am - I love her.

Raahh · 17/09/2013 14:14

I'm only glad they are not going to draw this out.

Bring on the talent show!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 17/09/2013 14:15

That is "talent" in its loosest sense, Raahh.

Raahh · 17/09/2013 14:15

Anne- there are times I find her annoying, but today I was willing her to wallop Fleur with a stiletto. Grin

But then they are laying the stereotypes on with a trowel with FleurHmm

AnneEyhtMeyer · 17/09/2013 14:16

Where is MsN today?

Raahh · 17/09/2013 14:16
Grin

yes- 'talent' Grin

AlphaBetaOoda · 17/09/2013 14:16

I'm team Zara too but it is nice to see a SW investigation into a 'professional family' as tv ones are usually stereotypical benefits-for-3-generations claimants.

Raahh · 17/09/2013 14:34

Alpha- true.

leezl · 17/09/2013 15:21

Hm that was a bit of a meh episode for me!

MsNobodyAgain · 17/09/2013 17:02

I missed todays, got caught up with other stuff. Will miss Wednesdays live too so I'll probably catch up in the evening.

I had to find something relatively smart to wear for tomorrow out of my existing wardrobe. Eight years of being a SAHM and being every size from a 16 to an 8 means it was no easy task. And heels! I don't own any. Not one bloody pair.

OP posts:
AnneEyhtMeyer · 17/09/2013 21:19

Hope you got yourself sorted, MsN. No heels? I have loads, but they hurt my feet so rarely wear them. I did buy myself a nice new pair of slippers today though.

Meant to say yesterday - my aunt was a Doctors fan. Sad

Raahh · 17/09/2013 21:24

oh Anne Sad

I hope she was a fan of the wtf storyline. Handbags, frogspawn, Mrs T's Rrrrrredbush, sort of thing. Hope you are ok xx

I have heels, but I'm only a size 2.5- any good?Grin At 4ft 8 they are a necessity, merely to reach my kitchen cupboards.-not Zara stylee Louboutins, though.

I had children purely so they could be taller and reach things. Grin

MsNobodyAgain · 17/09/2013 21:47

Sad Anne

Raahh you are TT (Truly Tiny). I wouldn't get half of my trotters in a shoe that size. Especially not with my bunions. Owwwww!
