The radius of the dome was kinda worked out last week - but weird that daughters boyfriends parents house is inside and theirs outside - wouldn't they need to live near hospital as both doctors!

Although Barbie shot the doctor, It wasn't completely straightforward. Doctor pulled a gun on him, they had a struggle and Barbie's gun went off. Afterwards he found out that the doctors gun wasn't loaded.

I did make a start on the book though. It is very different to thr tv programme.

Im still early days into the book but its more graphic than the show. More bloody bits.

Not got pass day one of the dome yet so no idea on the sci-fi ish stuff yet.

I'm about half way through the book, possibly getting a bit sci fi, but mainly more character development and a bit of gore. The book is brilliant I'm really enjoying it. I'll stick with the TV series but they're very different.

I really enjoyed the book (although read it a while ago so can't remember the details- I seem to remember there was a big 'fundie' end of the world angle from one of the characters that is clearly missing). I can't imagine the show as it is now will be as intense. The book has a 'Mist' feel and some characters seem way nicer in the show than they were in the book.

I haven't seen the latest episode and was going to watch it tonight but I remembered I have the latest ep of Whitechapel ready- definitely first choice for me!

By the way bad news for fans of The Returned. They will start filming the new series in February so it will be shown on French TV at the earliest in October, possibly later.

I watched an interview with the writer of the show and he's veeeery intense and cerebral. He's envisioning three 'movements' (series). The second is according to him the other side of the coin (his words) and he didn't elaborate on the third.

The positive is that he's wary of supernatural shows that pile on more questions and mysteries- he thinks the audience loses patience with that. He said he wanted to wrap things up and give answers to satisfy the viewers.

just tried to watch mondays and sky + failed me :( said it clashed ie dp must have tried to record and watch something and he fucked it up :(

cant find on repeat anywhere and demand isnt set up on tv as bloody router works better upstairs
