Doctors Addicts Anonymous Continued - Hope springs eternal

This is a thread for all fans of the weekday soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

Now I am hoping that:

  • Heston doesn't get together with that reptilian frozen faced tart. Instead he looks at Mrs T over a cup of Red Bush and is smitten.
  • The stalker storyline has a twist and perhaps Al comes to Jizzs' rescue. A knight in a bloody big suit of armour. She'd need a tin opener to get him out.
  • The usual people are killed off (6tl, FOD, Chris, Jimmi). We can still hope, never happens though Sad
  • We get to see TBFE in his fishing gear again. But there's a storm and he is lashed by wind and rain. Phwaaaaaor!

So regulars, please share your hopes. Any newbies/lurkers out there (there MUST be some, surely?), please join in the banter. It's a programme that is so bad, it's good.

Huzzah to more WTF storylines. Grin

Well, am catching up with Friday's. I do not like the bad restaurant just for the sake of it thing. It's mean.

The blind date thing brought back memories. I've been on a few- some better than othersGrin.

I have a theory on the stalker thing - I think it may be FOD. Al is just too obvious and FOD suddenly is always around her and she never was before.

TBFE was gorgeous on Friday, wasn't he? Love him all casual. Love him whatever he's wearing, obviously, but especially when casual.

My hopes for this thread:

  1. TBFE will be shown in the gym (and shower) regularly
  1. 6tl gets severe food poison during one of her restaurant critic visits and dies.
  1. Chris decides to do missionary work in deepest darkest Peru and is never seen again.
  1. Jimmi remembers he has OCD and is so busy washing his hands he forgets to go to work ever again.
  1. Heston and Mrs T get loved up under the stars drinking Rrrred Bush and eating a nice homemade cake, whilst she is wearing her flirty wig.
  1. The rightful owners of Gobby's house turn up.
  1. We see more of Zaniel and less of 6tl.

I don't have any hopes really, don't care enough about the characters to wish anything for them! Chris is growing on me, don't mind 6tl, Jimmi is very annoying as are Jizz and Kevin. Glad zaniel sorted themselves out but what now?

Wasn't around when Gobby inherited her house and I thought the explanation was fine (old aunt no other relatives as far as I remember) so not sure who will come along.

Looking more like Heston and 6tl will get together and she won't end up with TBFE after all. Be nice for him to find a nice lady may have some bedroom scenes

Restaurant critic? What have I missed? I must check that my Sky+box is still recording it, it may have glitched with there being a 4 week break before that. I probably won't find time to watch the ones I've missed, it being the school holidays but will jump back in again now.

Who - Heston and 6tl were at a restaurant and criticising everything and it just so happened that a local newspaper editor was at a neighbouring table. He has hired them to write a restaurant review column. Obviously. Hmm

I think this is an attempt by the writers to make us warm to 6tl, however we still hate the "reptilian frozen faced tart" (copyright MsN).
