Well, when I say almost what I mean is the 29th September in the US, and I think we were a week behind last series so early October - roll on the Autumn.

. One of the comments says that at the end Brodie says in Arabic "I am a muslim lost in this world..help me come clean again".

I CANNOT wait. I've missed Carrie so much. And Saul. Anyone sad enough to join me in the anticipation?

Gah! What happened after Quinn got in to the house? Ds started crying just at the wrong time.....missed it!

GypsyFloss · 06/10/2013 21:52

I was just about to type that he was a good shot and rather nifty on his feet when that happened.

cocoleBOO · 06/10/2013 21:52

Phew! It's just as confusing good as ever.

MakeHayIsAWhaleNow · 06/10/2013 21:52

When what happened?

cocoleBOO · 06/10/2013 21:53

Quinn shot the target but also shot the son, he didn't know it was the boy.

GypsyFloss · 06/10/2013 21:53

I don't trust Mrs Saul either... In fact I trust her less than Saul who does seem to struggle with the morality of his job big time

MakeHayIsAWhaleNow · 06/10/2013 21:54

I saw him waving his gun and looking macho....then the Boy woke and cried. Typical.

MakeHayIsAWhaleNow · 06/10/2013 21:54

Ah, thank you cocoleBOO. Poor Quinn, just what he avoided by not bombing the car...

GypsyFloss · 06/10/2013 21:55

It's fab and I'm so glad it's back.

cocoleBOO · 06/10/2013 22:10

Saul. Bad through and through.

Hassled · 06/10/2013 22:13

Ooo-errr. That was bloody brilliant.

So - what are Saul's motives for selling Carrie up the river? Assuming he's a goodie, I mean.

WipsGlitter · 06/10/2013 22:13

I agree coco.

SchrodingersFanny · 06/10/2013 22:16

How could he! Can't believe Saul is a baddun.

ihatethecold · 06/10/2013 22:16

Love it.
I think Saul was just telling the truth under oath
Carrie did not look good.

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 06/10/2013 22:16

I'm going to go with preserving the agency as they are trying to keep the Brodie OP a secret.

Hassled · 06/10/2013 22:23

Well that makes sense - Carrie as the sacrificial lamb in order to keep the integrity of the CIA. Maybe he thought/knew Carrie would spill the beans re Brodie's agreement with the CIA and needed to discredit her first.

I painted my walls that same soft green as Carrie's house following the last series {smile]

< saddo >

GypsyFloss · 06/10/2013 22:33

Isn't that the second time he has hung her out to dry , using her precarious mental health as the excuse?

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 06/10/2013 22:34

As long as you didn't adopt her tequila habit too, AF

GypsyFloss · 06/10/2013 22:36

Nor her dubious taste in ginger men ;)

valiumredhead · 06/10/2013 22:37

Any fucker-my bedroom is that colour, it's beautiful. I've just spent the whole episode saying to Dh how much I love her houseGrin

I was a bit underwhelmed by first episodeSad

cocoleBOO · 06/10/2013 22:40

I quite like the Brodys bungalow myself.

When the bomb went off, that Quinn set, poor DH jumped about 5 foot in the airGrin wimp

GypsyFloss · 06/10/2013 22:42

I think they needed to do an awful lot of scene setting valium . I reckon it's going to be great and have a tenner on Dana being radicalised, as suggested else where on a thread.

AnyFucker · 06/10/2013 22:48

Slow, slow episode. It's ok though, it will set the scene again.

I don't have a tequila habit, nor a taste for dubious ginger men. But I might have by the end of the series Wink

Rollergirl1 · 06/10/2013 22:50

I thought it was a really boring first episode, despite Carrie having illicit, tequila fuelled sex, Quinn killing a child and Saul shooting Carrie in the back.
