Well, when I say almost what I mean is the 29th September in the US, and I think we were a week behind last series so early October - roll on the Autumn.

. One of the comments says that at the end Brodie says in Arabic "I am a muslim lost in this world..help me come clean again".

I CANNOT wait. I've missed Carrie so much. And Saul. Anyone sad enough to join me in the anticipation?

Just checked again, they were all positive. I only saw the 1 line but it was just the darkest line on all of them. So it is Brody's then. Weird plot line. There were about 20-30 tests in that drawer. Weird.

GypsyFloss · 12/11/2013 19:28

Unless they were tests from every time she's gotten pregnant? Outlandish but hey this is Carrie we are talking about.

GypsyFloss · 12/11/2013 19:29

The baby was his grandson, he referred to him as such after he slaughtered the child's mother.

SmellyFartado · 12/11/2013 20:01

I've cheated and read ahead as I can't be doing with that much drama on a Sunday night.

I won't give away any plot spoilers but I will say that I am looking forward to Quinn in the shower Sunday's show Grin

guineapiglet · 13/11/2013 08:21

A shower scene?????

Wink
guineapiglet · 13/11/2013 08:22

or even anticipation Blush

Both anyway.

HalleLouja · 13/11/2013 12:09

Shower scene! Quinn! faints

unitarian · 14/11/2013 00:32

Shower scene? Quinn? Oooh!

Fiderer · 14/11/2013 07:31

Do we see his bum again? Obv relevant plot-wise.

He has changed though, hasn't he? When he first came he was more the ruthless black ops officer and Saul didn't trust him. Then there was the not killing Brody, his reaction to the child he killed in Venezuela, telling Saul he'd leave after this mission because of the way he thought Carrie had been treated, visiting her in hospital, and lastly, his comment to Saul when he found Javadi's wife.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but his "It's a bloodbath" remark and his expression weren't how I'd think a hardened CIA black ops killer would react.

Lagoonablue · 14/11/2013 16:56

A shower scene. Oh good. However have idly been reading up on Rupert Friend of late and realised he was Keira bloody Knightly's boyfriend for 5 years. Can't stand her. Still love him though!

GypsyFloss · 14/11/2013 17:25

He's much more attractive now he's softer around the edges. But I do hope we're not expected to believe his adoration of Carrie has turned him from hardened killer to good egg who is kind to puppies and loves his Grandma.

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 14/11/2013 20:48

Dana is very annoying and seems to show no emotion for her mother and brother. Just upon and leaving like that without even telling her mum and not even waiting whilst she goes to fetch something that she wants to give her. She's such a selfish, moody cow.

What do you think of Saul's relationship with his wife? Isn't it a weird one.

HalleLouja · 14/11/2013 20:53

I did know he went out with Keira f**king Knightley. Hides mountain of Heat magazines

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 14/11/2013 20:55

Just read upthread- a Quinn shower scene????!!!! Shock

HalleLouja · 14/11/2013 20:56

I think we are being teased.

GypsyFloss · 14/11/2013 22:14

Haha Hallelouja love the wispy bum fluff tache :)

kylesmybaby · 14/11/2013 22:33

I haven't read all the thread so excuse me if this has been discussed ... Does anyone else think Brody's son has someone new playing him this series. He seems completely different slimmer, talks different?? Or am I going mad. Thanks

BraveLilBear · 15/11/2013 02:58

I was convinced Chris was being played by someone new too, but IMDB says it's the same kid (Jackson Pace IIRC). Yes I'm a geek :)

I love Quinn. I like the parallel between him and Carrie as he has mental health issues, too, doesn't he? Very much looking forward to a shower scene.

GypsyFloss · 15/11/2013 05:51

Think it's the same actor, just taller.

Does Quinn have MH issues? I've not seen any reference to that but that may be just because I wasn't concentrating Grin

BraveLilBear · 15/11/2013 08:14

Pretty sure when he came on the scene that there was mention of PTSD or something like that. I remember having an 'ah that's an interesting parallel' moment. Will try and check back to be sure...

GypsyFloss · 15/11/2013 08:41

Ah ok, don't recall that. I thought he just came on the scene clothed in mystery. He does appear to be having big doubts about it all now though doesn't he?

bassingtonffrench · 15/11/2013 14:29

i have just realised rupert friend is british

What's with all the british actors in homeland? Can't they get american ones?

HalleLouja · 15/11/2013 14:41

British actors seem to mainly play baddies. Apart from Alan Cumming in the Good Wife but he is a bit sneaky.

HalleLouja · 15/11/2013 14:42

Estes wasn't pleasant, Brody the same and although we all now love Quinn he wasn't the nicest when he started.
