Well, when I say almost what I mean is the 29th September in the US, and I think we were a week behind last series so early October - roll on the Autumn.

. One of the comments says that at the end Brodie says in Arabic "I am a muslim lost in this world..help me come clean again".

I CANNOT wait. I've missed Carrie so much. And Saul. Anyone sad enough to join me in the anticipation?

Did y'all notice she stopped weeing after she'd done enough for the test?

Ok then....

GypsyFloss · 11/11/2013 07:01

Oh kitsmummy I like your logic.

If Javardi knew where his ex wife etc lived why didn't he do something about her sooner?

GypsyFloss · 11/11/2013 07:12

Interesting viewpoint.

unitarian · 11/11/2013 11:20

Ah! Got it. Thank you ovary.
I like the kitsmummy's theory that she went looking for a ginger guy.

guineapiglet · 11/11/2013 12:29

Just watched it on catch up. I found the violence with the glass bottle on Javadi's wife extremely unpleasant and could not watch it at all - why did it have to be so violent - to show that he was the 'animal' Saul said he was? Horrible. Almost gratuitous.

They are really spinning this out now - I almost cannot bear to watch Dana Not Brody anymore, her hand wringing and insistence on constantly being the centre of attention, hurting her Mum and brother over and over. And WHY does the brother never speak, it is so unrealistic. Wouldn't he being trying to protect his mother, upset that Dana is leaving them, or any display of any emotion AT ALL?

I am convinced there is something more sinister about Saul's wife, what 'hold' does he have over her, - more than just love and husbandly feelings, it all felt a bit shaky.

Why would anyone buy 25 pregnancy kits????
Hmm

Still think Quinn is the best thing in it. Grin
Roll on Borgen, I say, this is getting very annoying and increasingly unrealistic.

tickingboxes · 11/11/2013 13:12

I noticed the "claim" over Mrs Saul line - I thought she might have been rescued by Saul, or that she was a former baddie whom Saul was protecting, or similar.

Quinn is getting handsomer by the episode!

GypsyFloss · 11/11/2013 14:49

Quinn is rather lovely .

cocolepew · 11/11/2013 17:37

What light Hasseled ? ShockWink
You know deep in your heart that I'm right Grin.

HalleLouja · 11/11/2013 18:15

I think Quinn could look after me and my world would be a better place. Grin

Blu · 11/11/2013 18:40

I thought MrsSaul was asking him to fight for her. Telling him that he still had a claim on her heart if only he would fight for it. When she went away it was because he kept putting his job first and he didn't really fight for her then, and now he has just given up over someone she didn't actually say she loved, she just said he made her day feel better with him (the other man) in it.

Totally ridiculous that Jesica would allow Dana to just leave without getting an address, and arranging to meet for Sunday lunch or something.

Her brother was crying in the background.

SmellyFartado · 11/11/2013 19:51

I found last night's episode really hard to watch. Yes, the world is a bad place and people like Javardi or whatever he's called would feasibly do something like that because they can...but it was uncomfortable and stayed with me for a long time after the episode esp Saul saying to leave the baby.

I'm going to have to find that blog again so I can see what happens next week and to decide what Quinn fest bits I want to watch.

And enough already with boring fecking Dana. She's a royal pain in the angsty ass.

FunnyRunner · 12/11/2013 00:36

Just caught up. Bad Saul leaving the baby :( And the bottle stabbing was just horrible.

Quinn is the lushest of lush things. He could guard me any day. Brody can bog off.

TheDoctrineOfWho · 12/11/2013 07:31

They HAD to leave the baby. They would have been totally rumbled otherwise. Saul sent someone else there straight away.

GypsyFloss · 12/11/2013 07:42

And the baby has a father.

GypsyFloss · 12/11/2013 07:43

Did they find the gun the Javadi left on the side?

TheDoctrineOfWho · 12/11/2013 08:35

I'm sure the clean up squad would have called the police on the way out to alert them to the baby.

TensionSquealsGhoulsHeels · 12/11/2013 08:53

I'm still puzzled by the pregnancy thing. Why would she have a drawer full of negative tests, then get a positive, if it was Brody's and she's not seen him for at least 3mths? Makes no sense unless she deliberately got pregnant by liquor store guy in order to pass it off as Brody's. But why she'd do that I've no idea.

noddyholder · 12/11/2013 08:56

Iquor store guy looks like Brodie

TheDoctrineOfWho · 12/11/2013 08:57

I don't think the tests in the drawer were negative?

I think she's testing every day on the hope the problem will go away...

MurielTheActor · 12/11/2013 09:56

The answer to why Carrie does the things she does is - it's because SHE'S CRAZY Grin
And I mean that in the most positive way possible.
The series has continuously asked us to question our morality - they have redrawn the line so many times - surely the reason we keep watching?
Carrie has finally proved that she is both crazy and right in her analysis - can't get more positive than that.

Blu · 12/11/2013 13:58

Had Carrie and Quinn not arrived the baby would have been crawling aroun in blood and glass - Carrie put him safely in his cot, knowing that help was on the way. Saul was adhereing to training and not blowing the whole operation - remember they are trying to catch terrorists who killed hundreds.

TensionSquealsGhoulsHeels · 12/11/2013 18:50

I'm sure they were negative - I taped it, and went back to that scene as I was WTF!?! when I 1st watched it. I can't go back and check now as I've deleted it. I might have to check out 4od again as I'm doubting myself now!

They said it was his ex wife, so presumably he didn't live there.

TheDoctrineOfWho · 12/11/2013 19:09

No, the shot mother said that Javadi was her MIL's ex. Presumably her husband was at work or something.
