No can will be left unopened
No stone will be left unturned
As Mulder would say the truth is out there

So come on in!

His dad isn't famous is he? Was his dad Brian Clough?

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 10/07/2013 22:30

That kid's face

BOF · 10/07/2013 22:31

I think it is definitely going to be Wabbit who cries then.

Chubfuddler · 10/07/2013 22:32

His dad was not Brian Clough. Not according to Wikipedia anyway.

ArabellaBeaumaris · 10/07/2013 22:32

Was his dad Brian Clough?! I thought not?

thismousebites · 10/07/2013 22:33

He was Brian Clough.

thismousebites · 10/07/2013 22:36

Well that was what I was told by a massive Derby County Fan.
Have I been lied to?
Shit, twice in one week, not bad going!

Allthingspretty · 10/07/2013 22:37

night all.

Chubfuddler · 10/07/2013 22:38

Not according to digital spy he isn't. And apparently Neil said in ep 4 they weren't related.

Chubfuddler · 10/07/2013 22:38

Night

ArabellaBeaumaris · 10/07/2013 22:52

Don't think so thismousebites according to Wikipedia Brian had 3 kids, Simon, Nigel & Elizabeth born in the 60s.

thismousebites · 10/07/2013 22:55

OMG, I have been royally fucked over, again.
Never, ever trust your very closest friendsShock

curlew · 10/07/2013 23:11

Fantastic it's two women in the final. Less fantastic that their business ideas are so bloody trivial.

Snazzyenjoyingsummer · 10/07/2013 23:30

Maybe I missed this, but what exactly is distinctive about Leah's idea? There are Botox clinics everywhere. Why invest in one more?

Same for, well, all of them really. But I particularly didn't get it with Leah. Did she say something incredibly insightful about what she would bring to it when I was out of the room? (don't worry, I got the 'very moral person' bit)

curlew · 11/07/2013 06:40

And what's distinctive about an online bakeware wholesaler?

Lighthousekeeping · 11/07/2013 06:47

How is she still going to carry on being a proper doctor?

LizTerrine · 11/07/2013 07:10

Snazzy, I think it's the lunchtime facial aspect that's new - Karren said she had identified an emerging market.

LizTerrine · 11/07/2013 07:12

Anyway, let's not forget that Lord Sugar's not really interested in their business ideas. He just doesn't want to be taken to tribunal again or employ anymore wannabe slebs.

Snazzyenjoyingsummer · 11/07/2013 07:22

But they've been doing lunchtime Botox by me for years. I didn't think that was new. Although curlew none of the ideas are new. The panel did go on a lot about how Leah's was though. Agree it is a waste of a doctor, and for someone who goes on about being 'academic' doubt she will find it fulfilling

Sunnymeg · 11/07/2013 07:40

To be honest, I can't see Sir Alan touching Leah's idea with a bargepole. Luisa will win, no matter how badly the launch goes.

Aftereightsarenolongermine · 11/07/2013 07:56

Who decides which contestants go on the show? Anyone know if their business plans get scrutinised before being accepted? Or is it just who will make better tv? Think I've answered my own question there!

RussiansOnTheSpree · 11/07/2013 08:13

lighthouse She's not. As soon as she is properly qualified, she is going to do placcy surgery full time.

RussiansOnTheSpree · 11/07/2013 08:14

But that's clearly why she went into medicine in the first place. Disgusting.

RussiansOnTheSpree · 11/07/2013 08:15

Liz It's not new but it's currently only available in London and sime other really big cities, it's not everywhere and the market isn't saturated. Leah is also pricing it cheap, it seems, and she has a USP - many placcy surgeon types are men. She will be selling the possibility of looking like her. Which is in a way even worse.

RussiansOnTheSpree · 11/07/2013 08:18

Luisa's business is actually a really good idea.
