His business idea was flawed, but only because he wanted to introduce other estate agents into it.
What he should have said was that he would offer companies such as B&Q, Wickes, Screwfix, etc, to advertise on his website. He should also have suggested adding a forum for viewers to leave feedback. That way sellers would see where they were going wrong, ie new fencing needed in the garden, and would have seen the B&Q advert on the site, and gont to them to buy a new fence, IYSWIM
