WIMBLEDON 2013- it's Ladies' Singles Semi Final day!

THURSDAY ORDER OF PLAY

Well, it's flying by, this tournament. Sad

Am very miffed that Lipsticki is on second,as I'll probably miss all of it- due to having school meetings and Rainbows between 2.30 and 5.30. .I may catch bits but it's not looking good. And as it's on Centre, even a rain delay won't help.

Not sure who I want to win the first match - but Lipsticki for the tournament, I say- so Go! Lipsticki!

She won a fair whack for being in semi finals, I suppose you can look at it like that plus her ranking will not go down, will it? She did reach semi finals so should still be no 4. But am not entirely sure on the latter. She could have been a tad more gracious, it was a well fought match after all and she did not disgrace herself. Its just good manners really. Am sure she will be a lot more herself in the interviews after its all had a chance to sink in. She maybe wanted to cry and wanted to get off court to do it in private. Bless.

sieze- Ihave a web site that keeps you up to date with live mens rankings- (I'm a bit addicted to refreshing it, just to see what's going onBlushbut can't find an equivalent for the women.

But since Sara Errani lost in the first round,and she is world ranked 5, (seedings didn't go with rankings necessarily in the women's), then i doubt Radwanska will lose her rank.

You can check all sorts of things on the LTA one- like just how rubbish Brits are generally compared with other nations.Grin

Just realised I don't think the women's list accounts for the points drop- that may be adjusted Monday.(Serena would lose a fair whack of points losing so early, ditto Shrieky). I'm a geek for statsGrin

I am having withdrawal already. I am scraping all I can out of today... What am I meant to do on Monday then? Actually work or something? I've been getting up at 5.30 to do work till about 8/9 then go see to my Nan/get bits of food in then work def not on mn! till it all kicks off.
I have zero to look forward to next week.

This American Open, you know the one, right? Do we get that on regular Tv or do we have to order a blinking sports channel?

I love it as much as I do the tennis, so that is me happy for the next 5-6 weeks or so.

My Grandad used to take me to matches when I was little and I find watching it incredibly relaxing :)
