Of course I'm rooting for Ferrer- Vamos! But would love Del Potato to dowell too,so torn.
Kubot/Janowicz, bit difficult to call really.
Would love Berdych to triumph over Djoko- (then Ferrer can whup him in the semi's)
Am going for Verdasco- obs, as he's Spanish, and it would be wrong not too - I'm sure Murray is not without support!

I think they are empty because there has been such a quick turn around between matches and people have gone for comfort breaks etc.

They've probably all gone off for sustenance after first match, or else it's all corporate seating. Can't imagine why the sustenance seekers haven't rushed back though.

I would imagine that lots of people have gone for a wee, frogs. Queues for the loo, and maybe then a queue for a hot drink. They will be back, I hope

I'm not supporting the home player at all costs. I really, really rate him.

Farley - I was trying to listen to the commentary in the car - they were saying Ferrer looked questionable before the match- he went on the practice court- then walked straight off. But definitely not to minimise Del Potato's win- bloody marvelous game, his shots were great.

Oh i know Helen, am not in the least offended, think it's funny. I simply cannot stand him, Raaah. He is stopping me enjoying the match. I think his career low was touting for a job for Kim Sears, on live television, after she graduated. Without her asking him to.

Bloody Boris is driving me mad too. Why can't we have the passionate, informed, understated Sam Smith commentating on this match? Why not? Because she is a woman? Grrrr.

Farley, I get you! I feel the same. Not that I think DS1 would fare well. He seems to have inherited my complete lack of hand/eye co-ordination. He would make a good umpire though. He is a very officious 5 yo.

Castle is a nightmare. He ruined that charity thing at Queens by being so cringeworthy.
